Post subject: BOOKS! WHAT ARE YOU READING AND FAVORITE AUTHORS?? |
|
|
MY DAYS ARE USUALLY BUSY, BUT I DO CARVE OUT SOMETIME TO READ OR LISTEN TO BOOKS ON TAPE.
MOST OF THE TIME I HAVE TWO READINGS GOING, A BIO, A NOVEL AND A MAGAZINE OF SOME TYPE.
THERE'S A BOOK BESIDE MY BED, A BOOK IN THE CAR, A BOOK ON TAPE FOR WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND I'M LISTENING ON TO SLEEP.
A MAGAZINE ON THE COFFEE TABLE TO READ IN BETWEEN THE PROGRAM WHEN THE COMMERICIALS ARE MUTED . READING IS A MAINSTAY IN MY LIFE.
ARE YOU A BOOK PERSON? WHAT DO YOU FAVOR?
RIGHT NOW I'M READING AND LISTENING TO, " ON WRITING " BY THE GREAT, STEPHEN KING. IT'S MORE LIKE A LESSON AND I KEEP GOING OVER THE MATERIAL SO I CAN PRACTICE WHAT HE'S TAUGHT.
LET'S CONVERSE ABOUT THE WRITTEN WORD. _________________ FONDLY, MARTHA JEAN |

unfortunately i cant call myself a book person, Martha, reading little and desultorily bits of everything and never getting to remember authors nor much of info. but reading always succeeds to set various moods thus creating an atmosphere of variety thats why i often find it one of my most comforting and comfortable companions. SOrry can`t share any experience with you which could be of much interest nor novelty. Hope others will have more to say and keep the topic up. i`ll be glad to READ, of course |

I don't read a lot at the moment. Used to be a bookworm in my teens . The last book that I read was "The Da Vinci Code". Yes, it's absolutely thrilling - unless you start to think about it. Then it's just bollocks. |

I am reading a high standard book, wich will make me more concious of nature and all around it. Its been an eye-opener and brought me many spiritual experiences while reading it. Not to mention the lovely biscuits and cakes that i learned to bake. The book is called: Grandma's cooking with Marijuana Green cookbook.
I want to thank granny for writing it. |

when i have the time i like to read books from MARION ZIMMER BRADLEY.
KONSALIK,LINDA LAY SHULER,WILBUR SMITH,SIDNEY SHELDON,NOCHOLAS EVANS THOMAS KENEALLY and ALEXANDER RAMATI
he wrote the book AND THE VIOLINS STOPT (THE HOLOCAUST OF THE GIPSY'S) a very good book like all the authers.
the most are heavy to read because there is a lot of history in it but they are all worht it to read,
that is mine opinion and i like to read poems i wtite them myself also

]i/[ SAME TO YOU GIRL,
THE MOST BOOKS ARE GOING AMERICA [LINDA LAY SHULER]AND HOW THE INDIANS HAVE LIVED THERE ,IT IS VERY INTERRESTING,BECAUSE SINCE A LITTLE WHILE I KNOW THAT I HAVEN'T ONLY GIPSY BLOOD [THAT IS SOMETHING I KNOW FOR A LONG TIME,HUNGARIAN]BUT I HAVE ALSO INDIAN BLOOD IN ME SO THAT MAKES IT STILL MORE INTERRESTING TO READ BECAUSE YOU LEARN TO KNOW YOUR ROOTS.
