Hi, Martha! Yes, very disturbing - and of course the book is much better than the movie. You really get to see into this man's psyche. I highly recommend it _________________ J'attends l'amour qui m'attend (I wait upon the love that waits for me) |

Just started reading Stephen King's "Cujo." I've seen the movie, but never read the book until now....... _________________ J'attends l'amour qui m'attend (I wait upon the love that waits for me) |

GINA, HAVE YOU READ KING'S SEASON'S BOOK OF SHORT STORIES?
OUTSTANDING!! " THE BODY" IS INCLUDING WHICH THEY MADE THE MOVIE, 'STAND BY ME" FROM.
ALSO, " THE GREEN MILE" IS VERY GOOD.
I'M READING " THE GLASS CASTLE" A MEMOIR BY JEANNETTE WALLS.
I JUST STARTED IT, BUT IT'S SEEMS AS IT'S GOING TO BE GOOD. _________________ FONDLY, MARTHA JEAN |

Yes, Martha!! Do you mean his book called "Different Seasons?" I have that as well as "Night Shift", another bunch of short stories from long ago. I, too, loved "The Green Mile." I actually liked the book better than the movie, but the movie was very well-done
What's the "Glass Castle" about? _________________ J'attends l'amour qui m'attend (I wait upon the love that waits for me) |

HELLO GINA!
SORRY ABOUT NOT REPLYING SOONER BUT I'VE BEEN ONE BUSY GIRL AND MY COMPUTER WENT BONKERS.
I HAD TO DELETE ALL OF MY MESSAGES TO CLEAR OUT MY EMAILS.
ONE OF THEM WAS THIS SITE AND I COULDN'T FIND IT UNTIL NOW.
I THOUGHT THE MOVIE WAS OUTSTANDING BUT HIS BOOKS ARE MAGIC.
NOT READING FOR WEEKS, I HAVE NOTHING TO REPORT. I'VE BEEN SO BUSY WITH WORK, TRYING TO SORT AND CLEAN MY HOUSE AND A NEW PUPPY, WHICH IS WORSE THEN A TWO YEAR OLD CAUSE IT DOESN'T WEAR DIAPERS!!
NOW THAT I'M BACK, I'LL TRY AND CHECK IN AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK.
I HOPE YOU'VE BEEN WELL AND HAPPY. FONDLY, MARTHA JEAN _________________ FONDLY, MARTHA JEAN |

Hi, Martha! Sorry about your computer Glad it's all been fixed now, though. What kind of puppy did you get? What's his/her name? My little baby girl just turned 3 last month. _________________ J'attends l'amour qui m'attend (I wait upon the love that waits for me) |

SHE'S SUCH A SWEETHEART AND SMART, BUT CAN'T SEEM TO GET THE NOTION OF GOING POTTY IN ONE PLACE. I TRY AND TAKE HER OUT EVERY HALF AND HOUR, BUT SHE JUST CRIES AND WON'T DO HER BUSINESS. IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I'VE HAD A PUPPY, BUT I JUST COULDN'T PASS HER UP. THE OPPUNITUNITY WAS THERE AND I TOOK IT.
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR PUPPY.
HOW ARE YOU DOING BY THE WAY? I THINK OF YOU EVERY MON. AND WED. WHEN I GO TO YOGA CLASS. _________________ FONDLY, MARTHA JEAN |

Hi, Martha! Sorry, I've been away, so just saw your message now. Your poodle sounds adorable!! What color is she? My puppy is named Rosy & she's a little Maltese with big black eyes & a perfect little olive nose. I'm doing okay - that's sweet that you think of me when you do yoga. How are things with you? _________________ J'attends l'amour qui m'attend (I wait upon the love that waits for me) |

GOOD MORNING GINA,
I JUST GOT BACK FROM YOGA AS A MATTER OF FACT. I JUST LOVE IT AND WISH IT COULD BE EVERYDAY.
I THINK I'LL CHECK INTO SOME YOGA CAMPS LIKE YOU'VE BEEN TO.
JEANIE IS BLACK, WITH CHOCOLATE EYES. SHE WEIGHT ABOUT THREE POUNDS AND IS THE SWEETEST DOG.
I'M STILL HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE HOUSE BREAKING, BUT AM HOPING SHE'LL CATCH ON SOON.
HERE IN ARIZONA, IT'S JUST TOO HOT TO WALK HER, BUT WHEN THE WEATHER CHANGES, WE'LL GO ON SOME LONG WALKS. _________________ FONDLY, MARTHA JEAN |

Awww....she sounds adorable!! Don't worry about house breaking her - it takes a while. It took my Rosy almost 5 months to get it right. And my baby doesn't like to be walked - the concrete hurts her little tosies. Yes, you should definitely try to get to a yoga retreat. They're so wonderful & you feel totally at peace with yourself & the world afterwards.
You should google "yoga retreats in Arizona" & see if there are any by you _________________ J'attends l'amour qui m'attend (I wait upon the love that waits for me) |

I SEEM TO BE SO BUSY NOW AND FEEL HAPPY BUT A BIT OVERWELMED.

I'm feeling okay, Martha - just a bit tired from tennis camp & a little sunburnt. Your doggie will learn where to go in time - just keep laying out the wee-wee pad for her & she'll eventually get it. Also, reward her for doing it in the right spot & give her a little punishment for doing it anywhere except on the pad. That's how my Rosy learned..... _________________ J'attends l'amour qui m'attend (I wait upon the love that waits for me) |

Well, for a punishment, I usually just didn't play with her for a good hour or so or I made her stay in her area so she couldn't run freely for a while. I also wouldn't give her a treat if she made on the floor. If she made on the wee-wee pad, then I gave her a treat. I don't believe in hitting animals..... _________________ J'attends l'amour qui m'attend (I wait upon the love that waits for me) |
