No, I haven't yet my ticket. Forget your dentist bill and come over here :D It's not far : you can come by swimming :D , by the tunnel under the Channel (by train) or by plane (one hour for Brussels). haha!! :-D

Looks like Brussels will be the place to be on the 8th! :D I'd join you lot but I've already arranged to help out at a charity event in Sheerness, Kent, with one of my LiveJournal buddies. :-D

Those that have their tickets did they arrive through secure mail services? I have a missed delivery that requires a signature and I have never come across this company before and they are due to re-deliver to my work address today. It all looks very official except the telephone number on the card is incorrect. Can anyone help?

I do remember Ticketmaster saying something about sending by secure delivery--could be wrong though, and it could just apply to tickets sent overseas...hope it's your tickets waiting for you though! :-D
So they would have gotten here on time after all. Heh. Well, with my house move coming off in less than a month, I didn't want to take my chances. :oops:

Saying that though, my tickets for the Take That concert have not arrived yet and thats a month away!! Good old Ticketmaster - back to front as always !!

Glad you got your Petworth tickets!! :top And so true about Ticketmaster. Unfortunately, they're no more efficient over here. Paid the extra $14 (PER TICKET!) to expedite shipping on some Rush tickets in '02 just to keep my sanity... :?
I WILL say that the UK phone reps are much nicer though!!!!!! Both gentlemen I've spoken with have been really friendly and helpful. (Also both happened to be SR fans. :top)
Take That...*chuckles* Didn't know they were still together...their track "Back For Good" was a bit of alright...

Take That have reformed for an arena and stadium tour in the UK, ticket demand was absolutely crazy, selling out in hours. I will let you know what they are like live as I never got to see them first time round !!! As for the Simply Red shows. after checking on Ebay it looks like some of the tickets must have been posted out as there are Cardiff International Arena tickets for sale on there with pictures. Looks like I will now be on crutches for the event !! Having an operation on my ankle on 22nd June so may still be slightly disadvantaged on the walking front the following week, lets hope I can sprint in time for 15th July !!

Oh Soosie, thats so sweet of you to say I am so young !!!
Michi, I fractured both the inner and outer bones of my ankle about 11 years ago and they pinned the ankle together with a plate and some screws!! Just recently I have been experiencing quite a bit of pain in my ankle and heel and they have suggested that this could be caused by the metalwork being in the ankle for longer than necessary so they are going to remove them. Its a routine operation so all being well I will be home later the same day. My Cardiff tickets (if Ticketmaster dont mess up) should still be front row at the indoor venue so hopefully I will have a little more leg room and still be able to dance !!

Hi, Sue!! Yes, I would've loved to come over again, but my finances just won't allow it :cry: It was waaaaay expensive the 1st time I came. Plus I'm trying to save for a surprise trip to Hawaii for my mom. Hope you & Em have loads of fun at your SR shows :)

This time in two weeks we will be reunited in sunny Wales for the first night of the tour. Cannot wait to see all of you in Cardiff, I am getting excited now !! Now in possession of flight reference numbers as well as tickets...looking good!
Arrive in Cardiff airport at 09:45 and then will take bus which apparently meanders round all the small towns and villages on the outskirts of the city and arrives in Cardiff about 45 minutes later. Hilary arriving by train at around 12:30.

Have fun in Cardiff girls...waagh now I am sooo homesick. a) missing my fellow welsh people/pubs/stumbling in darkness in the early hours while drunk in the centre....then again i do watch doctor who and get all excited when i see home. b) mr sexy button is there and i'll bleedin miss it!!!!
PS Carol the bus isn't too bad, I think it only stops in Barry, cabs cost about twenty five quid into the city though...con merchants! Anyway, you might see a sheep which will make your day!
Hey Bron! Hope that paw is fit for dancing...there is a pub across the road from the arena, kinda big and flashy...but I would recommend the traders tavern, this is down a side street by the arena, there is an ncp carpark on the corner and it's halfway down the street, really little but a good atmosphere....so sink a few, dull the pain...and wiggle!

Thanks, Shannon! Yes, it is a pretty huge occasion - going to meet my favorite actor at a fan club breakfast :D Since I've been a fan of his for 18 years, it's a big deal for me. The airfare is $453, so yeah, it's a bit steep, but not too bad for the high season. And a friend is coming with me to share hotel expenses. Hope you have an amazing & safe trip to & from England.
