    Avar Tar's application
    Greetings, Tribal!

I'm Rasunik, a Brazilian player whose character on Antica is called Avar Tar. The name was chosen in honor of the professional hero who has always shown loyalty and is at service for King Tibianus, and who stand guard on the surroundings of Edron almost since when the island was detected by Seafarers of Thais.

The character story is kinda new: Even though I was already born for sometime, I lived in the village of Rookgaard. I finally decided to set foot in the mainland after seeing by chance an announce made by Tribal One inviting the Red Rose guild to the recent anniversary party.
On time, I took the chance and went to the Hideout. Of course I had no invitation, but fortunately an evil person was roaming near the guildhall and hence I was invited to come in not to get harmed by him. I still have to find and thank that guy! :-)

I recorded part of the party as most of you know, and since then I've been sleeping in one of the beds of the dormitory. Thanks Syl and Rince for this! Avar Tar was homeless for long time. Nevertheless, now he is looking for something more important, a guild, a family.
From what I could see during the anniversary many nice players make part of the Tribe. I also like Antica because it's the shortest way to meet, learn with and hear adventures of the old ones. E.g. hearing to Asmodeus talking about his old dragon hunt during the party was simply fantastic!

Asmodeus: Man I remember when Menelaos and me would go out hunting for a firesword on dragons
Asmodeus: We used poison walls to block them
Asmodeus: In the end of the fight we were both dead with poison everywhere
    (...)

Something is important to say, though: No, I don't play on this character neither play Tibia actively nowadays. Basically I only login to chat. Or when an event is going to happen. I'm still a bit active on the boards as a tutor, but this all is going to change soon because I will join the training course for soldiers of fire department. So, to be honest, when this happens I don't know when I will be able to login, maybe in months, maybe in a year. We never know what the future holds, but still I wanted to be a Tribe member and have a cozy place to login and chat with nice people whenever it's possible.

Well, I started to play in 2003 on Lunara. Soon enough I moved to Calmera where I been until September 2004 under the character Ricardo'Lord Of calmera. I miss so much those times! =/ Anyway, later I been on Tenebra, Unitera, Premia, but those were all short adventures. I've been on Honera since the world was launched on May 24th 2005 as Rasunik'Nevah.

    Thank you for your time!

    Kind regards,
    Rasunik

So please tell us about about the person behind the computer screen and Im sure your application will be even better :)

As I said in the first line, I'm from Brazil. ;-)

I'm still young and I'm currently at the university. Sorry but that's all I can tell publicly about me. Since this thread is visible to anyone - Tribal or not - I prefer not to say much of myself.

    Kind regards,
    Rasunik

Welcome to the Tribe forum Avar Tar,

I found your application to be very thoughtful and well written. I'm glad we had a chance to meet at the anniversary party. We had many visitors and old members show up. Indeed it was a wonderful experience. I had no idea you were recording it at the time, but I'm really glad you did!

The video is impressive and it brought back memories, reminding me why I still keep coming back to this imaginary world on the internet we call Tibia. Nice work. I look forward to speaking with you in game. :)

    Regards,

If you dont want to tell us more on theese public formums I can understand that, just thought I would give you a hint since I though you had missed that part, but you obviously had "missed" it on purpose so that is fine by me :)

Looking forward to talking to you In-Game!

    Yours, Straal.

Nice application indeed. And thank you very much for the work you did during the party, it is nice having video of that event. I do not blame you for not wanting to share too much information on a forum. Personally, I think First name and Country is enough. Age is nice to know too, because you can generally get an idea of how mature a player might be. But that is not always accurate either. Many "adult" players act like little children in game.

Like you, I am not very active. I tend to pop in once in a while and chat, never leaving the depot when I do. Hopefully, I can get a chance to speak to you in game.

And vice-versa, there are also children with an impressive mature behavior.

Anyway, thank you all for your kind replies! ;-)

I've been tring to catch any of you online in-game a few times a day, but I've failed so far. Hopefully the weather will cooperate in the next attempt. ^^

    Kind regards,
    Rasunik
