Native American Music
Which Native American music do you like to listen to?

There is more than only powwow or native flute music. What do you like to listen to and what CDs do you have or know?

Native Flute and drums. I've some very nice CDs.

did you already get yourself the CD of Brad Clonch? If you like Native flute then you will love it.

Me too, I like the drums - they are already nice on a CD, but to listen to them at a Powwow is just GREAT! you can FEEL them and thatŽs what I love !!!

I will look for it this weekend. My newest one is by Johnny Gonzoles (I bought it at the Gas Light Festival in J-town...and it is simply beautiful. Native flute musice to rushing water and forest sounds.

yep yep, same here. But right now I don't have any money left. lol I ordered something via Anne and I bought a book today and some things for christmas and now I'm poor. lol

I love to listen to Northern Cree and my fav song from them is Melvis Unplugged, :)

Also like Lakota Thunder with the song The Many Lands You Fear (Sitting Bulls song)

Northern Cree Singers are great - I was lucky to meet one of their high voice singers back in 2005 - he had a great voice and got asked to join the singers at the Rounddance we went to ... he gave me goose bumps
