Well, i'm kinda bored at the moment so i thought why not write down the history of Deadly Whisper. How DW was founded, what drove us forward.
Back at the December 2004 Jinta and me started playing as froobs, and soon Jinta got an invite to the newly created organisation Red Thirst, led by the player Drachenfel. Of course I joined that Organisation too.
This is where I met Archienoakes (who acutally invited us), Waqu, Docliliane and Azzis.
Unfortunally the Organisation broke down as Drachenfel seemed to have quit the game and the members were leaving Red Thirst.
Ending the friendships made would be a pity and we had lots of fun in Red Thirst. So I proposed to create a new Org to Archie, Waqu, Azzis, Docliliane and Jinta.
While Azzis had allready joined Rising Sun we still managed to create Deadly Whisper and Archienoakes took over the Presedency. (Actually we had to beg him to do it as no one else wanted to do it ;P)
So Deadly Whisper was created at the 20th January 2005 and Archie and me went through Rubi-Ka looking for members and to reinvite the old members of Red Thirst that left, and while I haven't invited that many new people but tried to make contacts with other Orgs instead - Archienoakes quickly filled our ranks with good and nice people, many of them DW Veterans by now.
With many players that upgraded to SL and AI (including myself) it was time to start looking for a City Plot so we could host AI Raids and allow our members to set up shops. I was greatly interested in that myself so I took one weekend where I only looked after City plots and read up what we needed to do to construct the buildings. It was a very frustrating Weekend though -.- and if you ask other oldtimers they will propably still remember my cursing in the org chat. End of the story was that i knew what i had to do but after flying ALL over rubi-ka I realized that there were no useable City plots left.
Archienoakes came up with a solution as he found someone who wanted to sell his City but it also meant we had to take over his Org and transfer all of our members there - needless to say that it took quite some time.
But yes, at the 2th May 2005 we became the proud owner of a city! Unfortuanaly the building setup wasn't that useable by us and it only had a small HQ while we wanted a large HQ.
After a Day of camping, looking for high level tradeskillers and after blowing all of Archienoakes, Waqu's and my credits we managed to setup a large Headquarter in our city.
No one ever remind me about building the city again, I went through hell for that city. >_<
At the 5th August 2005 the leadership of Deadly Whisper transfered to Waqu, I would still ask of you to thank Archienoakes for the job of a President that he did for DW, and a splendid job he did. Also thank Waqu for the splendid Job he is doing for us since then. Thank you guys, I could never have done it.
Really, while we allways had good connections to the Organisation Rising Sun as Jinta and Azzis were in it along with some other friends - it changed around the October 2005. What started as a "fun" join of the Org channels (where I have to take the blame that I did it without asking the other DW leaders first) quickly became a permanent join, and Deadly Whisper officially joined the Allience of the Faithful at the 2nd November 2005.
I would never again want to miss our buddies from Rising Sun, Red Eyed Milita and Valheru Ascendants. Great to be with you guys.
End of the story - this is where we stand today. It's your time to write new History! ;)
