Ciamar a tha e ag obrachadh? / How does it work?
Mar a thuirt mi, 's e pròiseict prìobhaideach a th'ann, oir tha dlighe-sgriobhaidh air an teacsa a tha sinn eadar-theangachadh. Mar sin, feumaid an leabhar a bhith agad mar-thà! Cha bhith sinn a' seòladh scans no teacsaichean digiteach a-mach.
Gheibh thu an t-eadar-theangachadh slàn nuair a bhios a' phròiseict crìochnaichte agus ma rinn thu eadar-theangachadh thu fhèin. Cha bhi e ri fhaighinn do dhaoine eile!

Tha e ag obrachadh mar seo:
    1. Clàraich ann am fòram
    http://www.iphpbb.com/board/profile.php?nxu=28152870nx101708&mode=register
    2. Roghnaich roinn dhen leabhar a tha thu airson eadar-theangachadh (tha sinn a' tòisicheadh le caibideal a h-aon).
    Seo na roinnean:
01_01: bho dhuilleag 7 [The boy who lived] gu duilleag 9 [people in cloaks...]
01_02: bho dhuilleag 9 [He found it a lot] gu duilleag 11 [he could bear it.]
01_03: bho dhuilleag 11 [The Dursleys got] gu duilleag 13 [Dumbledore?]
01_04: bho dhuilleag 13 ['It certainly seems] gu duilleag 16 [ready to take it?']
01_05: bho dhuilleag 16 [Professor McGonagall] gu duilleag 18 [Crìoch a' chaibideil]
Chan eil e gu diofar gun cuir mòran dhaoine Gàidhlig air an aon roinn, nì sinn eadar-theangachadh "ceart" bho grunn eadar-theangachan le chèile.
    3. Cuir Gàidhlig air an roinn agad
    4. Ma tha ceistean agad as an teacsa agus thu airson deasbad air eadar-theangachadh, cuir iad anns am fòram "Ceistean eadar-theangachaidh" (cha bhi seo ri fhaicinn mur' eil thu clàraichte agus a-staigh a' fòram).
    5. Seòl an toradh agad gu "nagaidhlig AIG googlemail PUING com" mar faidhle ".txt" no ".rtf", cuir an uimhir ann an cuspair dhen phost-dealain, m.e. "01_01".
    6. Mu dheireadh thall, ni sinn sgrùdadh air na eadar-theangachaidhean airson mearachdan a cheartachadh agus feabhas a chur air an stoidhle.

Sin e. Tha mi cinnteach gun atharraichidh seo, ach tha sinn dìreach air tòiseachadh agus tha mi a' smaoineachadh gu bheil seo ceart gu leòr an-dràsda.

As I said, this is a private project because there's a copyright on the text that we ttranslate. Therefore, you have to own the book already! We won't send out scans or digital texts.
You get the full translation when the project is finished and you did a translation yourself. No-one else will get one!

    It works like this:
    1. Register for the forum
    http://www.iphpbb.com/board/profile.php?nxu=28152870nx101708&mode=register
    2. Choose a part of the book that you want to translate (we start with chapter one).
    Here are the parts:
It doesn't matter if many people translate the the same part, we will make a "right" translation from all of them.
    3. Translate your part into Gàidhlig
    4. If you have questions regarding your text and you want to discuss a translation, put it into the forum "Ceistean eadar-theangachaidh" (it won't be visible unless you are registered and logged in).
    5. Send your result to "nagaidhlig AT googlemail DOT com" as a ".txt" or ".rtf" file and put the number of the part into the subject of the e-mail, e.g. "01_01".
    6. At last we will proof read the translations to correct errors and improve the style.

That's it. I am sure that this will change, but we have just started translating and I am sure this will suffice for the moment.
