Hiya everybody,
Good to see things off and running so well. I do have a few general notes to make, however...and you will notice me doing some boards cleaning accordingly. Just some moving around...
--If you're just joining us, your intro "Hey, here I am" post can go in this forum under "Welcome Everybody"...and when you're ready to do a pic and full profile, that goes under the Meet & Greet.
--Personal pics, then, go under the Meet & Greet under your profile. The 'Picture Book' section is for pics of the band , or general fan get-together pics or something like that.
--We're asking for no responses to the Meet & Greet posts to keep that section clear reading...the handshakes & hugs can go in the "Welcome Everybody" thread, once again.
--ALL Simply Red music related posts can go in a topic under 'A Song For You'. Album reviews, concert reviews, questions to/about the band members, whatever. This forum (Fairground) is more for just general jabber between fellow users.
This way, everyone knows where to look for what type of post to make reading easier...especially since I know so many of you do this at work and are under a time crunch. 
I'll be scooting some posts around accordingly. Thanks for your cooperation!
Oh, and for those of you who haven't yet filled out full profiles in the Meet & Greet, don't be shy, you're among friends.  |

Heya,
I'm scooting around stuff now...but not sure how to get those intro posts up into the Welcome topic as they're separate topics (I have them in the proper forum though)...also not sure what to do with the response to Jo-Joe's Meet & Greet profile. Any ideas?

I just opened a Mod/Admin-only section to test a lil bit. You could try everything you like to know there.
I'm not sure whether you can see all these icons?!
 - delete topic
 - move topic
 - merge topic
 - lock topic
 - split topic |

I can. But I'm not sure how to put those new topics under an already established one...maybe "Merge"???? |

Hi folks!
I think it's time to reorganize some things here. It seems we need a special birthday section where everyone can post 
Another thing are the jokes and games. They are absolutely welcome but I think we will need an extra section for them too?! Anyone disagrees??

Brilliant idea, and I was just about to suggest such. As long as everyone sticks with the breakdown and posts where stuff's supposed to go...
Will get on that FAQ expansion ASAP...got a few things I need to get done first. Will shoot for this coming weekend. |

Saw the album covers + a very nice surprise it is....
but the words "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" sent shivers down my spine...
reminded me of...................................the last galaxy we came from...
examples of alternate words...
how about "PAGE BEING DESIGNED"
-or-
how about "PAGE CURRENTLY BEING ORGANIZED"
how about "BUILDING FUTURE FORUMS"
how about "NEW INFORMATION COMING SOON"
just some ideas......
instead of the dreaded "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" phrase

I hope I didn't scare you too much I deleted these too ugly words now and promise I will never use them again 
That will save you from going to the psychiatrist. They are pretty expensive these days  |
