Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone is interested in leveling together daily or most of the days? I enjoy the thursday party, but once a week is not enough, and as I always say "group leveling is more fun".

I hope someday most of the guild members will have one rebirth char for high level hard parties. I've noticed we have few priests level 90+ in the guild, what about leveling in moscovia, niffeheim, and other 90+ level maps?

I am also interested in low level parties, like last night, Lampris, Tim, Lili and I, we went to amastu and sohee and it was fun. I have some event ideas for the guild, and if you have some, let's share it. The purpose of this topic is to promote the interaction between members and make RO more fun to play.

Let me know your thoughts and let's figure out something.

Cheers

Well put Renan! First of all I wanna say how fun it was to get together spontaneously yesterday evening with you, Tim and Lisa and apart from the usual mobbing and killing I did enjoy our jokes and discussions a lot :] However organising this for a specific days may not work that well in my opinion, because sometimes the best parties are exactly when nobody plans anything. That's why I would encourage everyone to stay online on Skype whenever ingame too because the perm chat proves a great tool for a quick communication and an idea for a spontaneous party the same evening. I'd say we could organize one or two days in a week party that we talk about in advance but the rest is just open to us. Also let's not be shy and whenever one wants to party just say so in Skype and I bet there will be many peeps willing to join as we do have a variety of different level chars Smilie (well not me but haha) so remember to get online on Skype and just socialize Smilie but we do that already so its all cool Smilie

event ideas? hmm how about some special days when we just go hunting for specific loot ? for example loot that sells well ? i know this is very capitalist thinking but we could try to be self sufficient and not depend on other players' vendors Smilie thats just a loose idea. or some kind of a contest who dies the least? Smilie and then that person gets lets say most of the loot? Smilie i am not a competitive person but it was so funny to count our deaths yesterday haha Smilie personally i dont mind dying at all Auf den Arm nehmenAuf den Arm nehmen my ideas might sound a bit quirky but im trying to come up with something unusual to keep us all hooked up and having fun Smilie

peace out

I must admit that I absolutely hate power leveling. One or two parties a week are fine, but more that that would be no fun at all, especially when I feel I "have to" reach a certain level. And I can only play until 22:00 german time usually and most parties start far too late for me (that's one reason why we planned those thursday parties in the first place).

If you want to party more, just ask people ingame. There's not really a need to say "we have to party x days a week", that would take all fun out of the game, at least for me.

And Lampris, Skype isn't possible for me anyway. Please don't make this guild depend too much on it, I had problems with that on Loki already and I'm actually very happy that I can be in a guild without having to use programs like that. If most of the parties are planned there without me knowing anything, I'll no longer feel like I'm part of this guild.

Hi Manah,

Just for the record, I did not say we have to party all the time, it wasn't an order, it was a question.

"I was wondering if anyone is interested in leveling together daily or most of the days? I enjoy the thursday party, but once a week is not enough, and as I always say "group leveling is more fun".

Thanks for giving your reasons, but I do enjoy leveling daily and I was hoping to see if anyone else in the guild has the same thoughts. Anyway, if anyone wants to joing me for leveling please let me know.

PS: I like the skype idea, not only for the game but I enjoy chatting as well.

Cheers

That part about the rebirth characters made your post look like you want everyone to level as much as possible now. Sorry for misunderstanding.

Well that's exactly what we've been doing so far^^

As I said, I'm not able to use Skype. You plan your party there and I don't even know about it. That basically means "If you cant use Skype, we will plan without you". That's the one thing that bothers me here - when people use Skype/Teamspeak/whatever a lot, they tend to forget about the others who can't. (There was a time when nobody told me about guild parties and I found out when it was too late to join, that was terribly frustrating for me.)

We may try to organize one or two parties in a week, it's always good to have more guild party. Please post in advance so I can get well prepared Sehr glücklich

For daily party, I don't think we will plan the party only depends on skype, usually we also check who's ingame. And we will not forget about you Manah (hug). But, I am not always in game, so don't forget to ask me on skype. Lachen

For Thur party, we need more people to post and plan for it, if you have any idea please feel free to organize.

P.S. I won't be active ingame till early Sept, but I will still join Thur party and some daily party when I'm free.

Just to let you know: my parents will arrive today and I will be afk vending the next days.

I guess for those that want to party and chat about it in skype there shouldn't be a problem to be ingame same time and see if anyone is online who is not using skype. Just let these know ingame that a party is planned and if they want to join^^

To make it easier for your planning: please check the sharelist and tell me which of your chars aren't listed yet.
Just post me here:

and I will add them

Have fun top mates, cu you in some days ^^

Manah do not worry I am not saying Skype should become mandatory its just a simple suggestion. And I am actually advocating Skype as a socialising tool more than just to get a party. The ingame chat system is not the most comfortable and Skype more than makes up for it. I am happy to use it if you do not want to use it than its perfectly fine, we can always chat in guildchat too Smilie The disadvantage of guildchat however is that there is many characters, some not in the same guild and if you do not have them on your friends list then you don't even know that that person is currently online. That is why I am so positive about Skype too.

But I agree we do not need to organize more than 2 parties a week. Rest should be up to us when we feel like it and find ourselves all online then why not? Smilie Spontaneous! So let's keep max two days a week organized and posted on forums with details and the rest we can just carry out on the go Smilie

I'm sorry Manah, but sometime you are a little hard to find - my friend lists are not big enough for all your chars /sob

The only reason people mention skype is that many of us use it already - and it is free and mulitplatform unlikely some chat software. Mostly we only use the text messaging bit, so no worries about having to speak english (or understand my accent either!).

The main reason I liked the idea of a default weekly party is that it is something that is easy for those not on skype to know will happen Smilie

I was hoping to get Monday parties maybe every other week for higher level chars (not power leveling, but trying some of the tougher maps we need tough parties for - I like parties that takes chars somewhere they cannot go solo ^^).

I don't think any of our parties are power leveling - to me that is going on for hours and no-one stopping to chat - no social, all kill monsters faster... and no room for builds that don't fit perfect job either. Most of us don't have these 'perfect builds', well perfect for us, but not for the power level types Winken but for parties to more dangerous maps we will have to use teamwork and different chars will have different jobs not just all running around driving the poor priests crazy Sehr glücklich (Someone will have to explain to Renan that his chars are not all mobbers for instance sm_03.gif )

To me the most important thing about all these parties is fun. We now have enough guild members to mean there will likely be party options most evenings, even if often just 2 or 3 person party. Lets enjoy this but not make it mandatory. We all sometimes need time to ourselves, or just feel like beating up something on our own. But there are enough of us now to have company most of the time when we want it.

As a slight aside - and perhaps related to my suggestions on tidying up the guild forum front page - if we can reduce the number of threads showing on the front page then the shoutbox will be more visible and then that can also be used by everyone to announce any ad-hoc parties - simply putting in a message saying :

52-62 party, Orc Village, pm Eric

Would let anyone looking in know that party was going on, a second message saying 'party over' might be useful too. The shoutbox could be used for that now, but is a bit of a long scroll down at the moment, but we could still try this when people remember, and hopefully it would become a habit after a while.
