Does anyone know something about this part, i have found this in the forest. Somewhere in this forest ist a crashplace from sep. 1944. I found there also a shell housing with the marking T W 4, caliber .050. The Part ist out of aluminium and a kind of plastic around.

What you have found is a intact incendiary bomb (Stabbrandbombe) from the Royal Air Force :roll:
It´s extreme dangerous to handle with this bomb !!
Take it carefully out of the house and call the Kampfmittelräumdienst, or the police !!
Hope this bomb will not to activate ....

as for the markings on the ammunition..
TW= Twin Cities Ordnance Plant, Minneapolis, MN.
4 means it was made in 1944

Thank you for the quick answers. The bomb ist broken on the other side you don't see on the picture. I bring the rest carefully out of the house and call the police. :panik:
Was this kind of Bombs used in B17 or Lancaster Bomber?

Both British and American bombers use incendiery bombs but i dont know if they were the same type.
if you are trying to identify what aircraft crashed at this site, if it was a 4 engine bomber, then it is most likely an American B17 or B24.
Lancaster guns were usually .303 calibre, Americans used .50 calibre, like the empty cartridge you found

This is indeed an Incindiary bomb or "stick" as it was known in the RAF. Be very careful with this. If you find anymore Please do not touch it but notify the relevant authorities! :panik:
