Ohh..hehe..well, it was in the year 2000 as my ex boyfriend told me about them.. he´s a big fan of them too and the first song I knew was "30 seconds over tokio"..

I think "30 seconds ..." is the best song to discover the band ....
So, I "met" the band in 1976 (oh yeah !) in a french magazine, Rock & Folk, reading a text by Philippe Garnier, a really great (rock)-critic, talking about that incredible band. The guy wrote about 5 articles with the band in it. They are on my website !
And you know what ?
If everything is okay, I'm going to meet "The" Philippe Garnier tomorrow .... :wink:

Yes, I think, i'm a fan, but not a fanatic (in anything !!)
About this french journalist, it's not only a question about to be or not to be a fan. This guy wrote a lot of actually good articles in the seventies, made a lot of people discover a lot of US bands (Pere Ubu, Devo, Nerves, Plimsouls, Dwight Twilley Band etc...) ... We talk about the french Lester Bangs (and so much better than ...)
He lives in LA for years, do not write anymore about rock'n roll but cinema.
That's why this evening meeting is important in my life ("important in your life" answer Jonathan Richman :wink: )
May be I tell you more tomorrow ... may be .. :)
