^ Since I’m the 1st to post to this topic, I have nothing to answer but I hope to see some intresting questions on here.
< This Thursday I’m going to the Phila Flower Show. It’s a huge event for the city. Many people from all over the world come over for a visit. I love to see all the wonderful flower and landscaping displays and to shop at the numerous vendors. I’ll be there getting a bunch of plants to grow!!! ^ Even though I haven't been there for a while, I'd say the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The beaches are nice & clean and it's quiet. Very relaxing but there are still plenty of places to go out to eat & shop too. Lots of wildlife and lighthouses to discover all over. It's a great place to visit. And Gina, I hope you finger will heal up nice for ya.

^ My students are a really loveable bunch...the smallest thing will make such a big difference to them, and they're really appreciative. A few of them will even plaster a big hug on me when I'm having a stressful day. My heart melts accordingly. :oops: :D
< REALLY should get my homework done, it's not like it's gonna be that hard to do...and I can't put it off until right before class as I'll be racing back to campus from my bass lesson...speaking of my bass, better practice tonight too. Have had requests to "broadcast" tonight...*laughs*

8) Yeap! My hobbies lately are working on political policies. I have some that do help me in response to support. I build my designs on facts. (I hope I didn't lose you there)

I guess figure out who would get what of my stuff, write up a quick will, and call or write everyone who's currently making some impact on my life to thank them for being a part of it, and saying my farewells. It would probably take me most of that last day to do that, and even then, I'd probably miss someone. :-(
Really makes one think about the last time they said they appreciated someone...*head down in quiet contemplation*
< Today was probably the least productive day I've ever had. I really didn't accomplish anything of substance...just feel kinda blah. Physically drained. Prolly from inhaling all that smoke at the bars last night... :oops: That's why I don't do the "going out" thing very often at all...not really my idea of a good time.

^ Everything. It's my favorite season of the year. New life dawns everywhere...the daffodils spring out of the ground...ducklings paddle after their moms in the freshly-thawed rivers...the temperatures rise and everything is new and green...it's a time to celebrate the blessing of life. I'm looking forward to it.
< Just got done watching all the bonus stuff on the Duran Duran Live From London DVD. Highly recommended--this DVD was produced very well, you really get your bang for the buck--and the concert itself? Fantastic. Every person on that stage was having the time of their lives, and the fans fed off it. High-energy show that it's hard to get enough of. Our esteemed Sarah Brown provides powerful backing vocals. GET IT. NOW. *laughs* (Thanks, Yo-Yo, for turning me on to this one.)
V What's your favorite non-SR music DVD (if you own one)? I can't make up my mind...all the ones I've grabbed have been great... :-D

The only other non SR music DVD we own are a few of them by the Blue Man Group whom I love. Have been to see them MANY times in Vegas and even have a piece of their original artwork framed in the girls' playroom.
I once saw Duran Duran live in concert in my younger days (about age 19) and even made my way onto their tour bus with my sister. However, Gino~ one of the crew~ was a just a bit too eager to "entertain" us so when he went to get some wine we decided to bolt. During the concert he saw us in the front row and made a very rude gesture to us after we yelled his name. Of course we just died laughing. Oh the fun and frivolity of youth. LOL

It was years ago and the facts were this:
Some of the gals at work put a mirror up for themselves. This was the type of putting up that was not nailed nor on the wall. They placed it so it leaned on the wall. We sat around the mirror for our break time. Then it ended with someone pressing or knocking it over and the mirror broke...and yes the bad luck was on me then. I got cut slight bit! The pretend nurse helped me and then that was fini.
Just took a look at tickets for Disneyworld...wow you have got to be joking for the entrance fees. My has it been a long time!
If you could focus on one issue in politics...what would that be? Give us insight for your feelings or needs.(please)

THat is the one I am married to; we have been together for 18 years.
I have been spoofed twice now. It seems someone is writing before I get there. So I am late, late late. Today I go for a repairs. I need to win the lottery so I can buy some more Jags... One to drive... two to keep in the shop for repairs!
If you had only one ticket and two best friends what would you do? They both want to go.
Buy another for that other friend?
Flip a coin?

i`d be advocating and pusging the idea of making it a 4 or even 3-days working week for women.
i nought a tube of handcream yesterday but on bringing it home discovered it was the one for the feet : as customers in supermarkets we must all put things back to where there formerly belonged if we decide against taking them eventually

YEP!!
I have downed the pairs of shoes. Lessened the amount of clothes through the years with one swift cleaning that lasted about 4 hours. Now with the tummy control not in restraint..Wink Wink!(pregnant) I shall wait for the next spring I have bought a few things for such the wink wink case.

< I got a promotion at work this week. Now I am part of the official software training team. I still have to do my current job when I'm in the office but now I have to do some traveling this summer for the new training part of my job. My company is releasing a big new major software upgrade soon and I was one of the people selected to go out to train users with all the new stuff. Now I have to rearrange my summer plans around!!!!! What a pain that will be! At least I'm getting paid more!!! :roll:

< I got very sick last Friday with the stomach flu. I was OK to eat Easter Dinner yesterday but I missed out on cooking up the big family dinner with my MOM to avoid getting anyone sick. I love to cook holiday foods and I'm very disappointed I missed out cooking this meal. :cry:

^ Well it was on DVD called Ladies in Lavender. It's a story about two lonely elderly sisters living by the sea in the UK. They find a young Polish man washed up on shore who was trying to go to America when his ship sank. They nurse him back to health & they find out he is an extremely talented violin player. I liked the movie but it was a bit slow in parts. It was good story and everything turns out OK in the end. :-D
< Having lots of thunderstorms today in the Philadelphia area. I wish lighting would knock out the power at work so we could go home early. No such luck so far!!! LOL!!! :lol:

- I wans't! When I was a little girl I was a tree-climbing :-D .When I was 18 untill 20, I made climbing with my boyfriend :-D I liked to do that. But now ... hem :? now I'm not really scarried of heights but I couldn't do that sport again :shock: . Now, I climb a on stepladder... :D less dangerous... :wink:
- What a wonderful weather we have these days. The temperature is ideal! Su, the open wound you had with your flip flops, that's the kind of things that always happend to me. :D I try to pay attention now because I have a assemblage of scars :? :D

< Gina my nutrition class went well. It really taught me how to count my carbs, watch out for fats and portion control. I've been following my menu plan for two weeks now & I’ve lost 5 pounds and my blood sugar readings are getting closer to normal. It's really working but I've got to keep it up. I’ll tell you more about it during our call next week. I’ll e-mail tonight about the call too. :-D

^ About 4 years ago, I went to San Francisco Area to visit my Aunt and I love it up there. On that trip I toured the city, went to Lake Tahoe, Muir Woods, Yosemite, the Napa & Sonoma Wine Country and Monterey. It’s just lovely up there and I like that there is a lot to see but is it expensive! I ‘d never want to live there but I would like to go back for a trip there some day.
< Well the heavy rains have stopped in PA but all of the rivers and creeks are still flooding. They will not reach their crests until late tonight or tomorrow morning. Many houses along the rivers are being flooded out. I'm OK where I live because I live on a high hill but my Grandmom lives very close to the Schuylkill River. She is getting nervous because the water is creping up close to her house.

i dont believe kids differ much from other human bengs so as with the rest of the world what i`d talk or not with them would largely depend on circumstances and age

i read Mick had his hair cut a t their latest warwick castle gig. thought the hair do he had at each of the gigs the previous days was prefectest of all on him. ho-hem hope at least he is not next to bald now lol
if you were requaeted to get yourself a pet (provided you were not having one already) and were given a choice of a cat or a dog, which one would you choose?

^ Even though I have a cat already, if I had no pets I would probably get a dog. They are very friendly, willing to please, loyal and they listen to you. Cats are not always that way! My cat isn’t, she’s a diva!!!! If I was going to get a small dog, I would like to have a Jack Russell, Yorkshire Terrier, Miniature Dashound, Boston Terrier, Italian Greyhound or Chihuahua. If I wanted a big dog I'd get a Great Dane. They are big but they the friendliest dog you'll ever know!!!

no. i find it a waste oif time and money. a bit of jogging and disciplined menu and day regimen and a seaside or other eco type of touristry for a holiday can always substitute for a spa with me
i am going to a farewell sorta dinner a firend of ,ine invited me to she has been visiting her parents here during a 2 weeks stay and tomorrow she is leaving
have ypou ever eaten a dish made of some insect. like a cockroach. or worse. lol the sort they make them eat sometimes at reality shows of the fear factor sort?

only used their service once. was left satisfied. always very sorry about the victims and causes of planecrashes
i know some spectacles with thin black plastic lenses perforated into many tiniest holes they rEALLY let you see a bit better without even having any dioptric feature in them. they are not aesthetically attractive tho to look at for a beholder lol

i used to watch a lot a game show called What?WHere?When?
the aforementioned tv game is for polyhistoric minds and its a pleasure to see minds at work. poeple send in questions. now by internet too. there are high bets. either the team playing and answering correctly or each person whose question stays unansered win money. the qustions are not necessarily to be super hard but involve quick wit and assotiative abilities of poeple sometimes rather than knowledge.
if you had to eat an uncooked live cockroach, just caught, virgin fresh, and were promised all bill gates money for it, would you?
