This is to either Michi or Shannon: how do you post pics onto the forums? I tried to download one from My Documents on my computer, but it wouldn't work. Can someone give me a step-by-step? Thanks!!

Will practice myself here, as I see we've got a new photo host, so my old instructions MAY not work...
Okay.
When you go to post a topic or reply, you see a white text box to type in, right? Look just under that. You will see a line that says "powered by www.iceload.com". Right under it is a text box line and a gray box that says "Browse". With me so far?
Click on the "Browse" button, and find the photo you want in amongst the files on your computer. Double click the photo you want. The filepath should then show up in that text box line.
Click the button right underneath that says "Upload". It will take you to the Iceload site.
You'll see three options of code: HTML, BBCode (Thumbnail) or BBCode (Normalgrosse) (best I can do with an English keyboard!!). Ignore the HTML one and focus on the BBCode ones. The first is good for large images; the second if your image isn't TOO big. Pick the one most appropriate for your photo, then click and drag right across the code to highlight it. The code goes past the box shown; drag until it won't let you drag anymore. Right click on the highlighted code and hit "Copy".
You'll note that this window (the forum) is still available to you. Open it back up, and "Paste" your code whereever you'd like your piccie to appear in your message. Then scroll down and hit "Submit" as normal.

i found the new host much more convenient than the previous one so Gina try it i believe you wont have any major problems: the birthday greeting cards i downloaded via it a few days ago got posted so fast :!: :!: :!: :!: to my shere amazement. so good luck, Gina :!: :!: :!: :!:

Just one thing to add: You can still use Imageshack [->]. That might be a better decision 'cause I have read somewhere that "Iceload" will probably delete older pictures.
Anyway, if there are pics you like to keep, save them to your hard drive. :wink:

Okay, one last question: how do you get pics on here from various websites?? For example: I'd like to post a photo from hallmark.com. How do I do it? When I click on "browse," it only shows me my computer documents. Thanks!

That one I'll defer to Michi on as she's good with doing the URL posts. I haven't managed to get one to work yet, and I'll admit I don't try too hard, either. :P

You have first to put the picture in your computer documents.
Put your mouse on the picture of Hallmark (or anyone else website) you want. Up, on the left side of the pic appears a blue diskette. Click on it and save the pic on your hard disk in your pictures file. Then you can click on the "browse " button and chose it for doing the Shannon's step by step instructions (she made so well :wink: ).
