    Hi Stubo,

    welcome to our board !

Your parts you have found come from british Short Stirling I Bomber of Royal Air Force.
I can see some gaskets from engine, photo #2 looks like as a scale from bombsight ...

    Regards
    Nils

    Hey Stubo,

I have a very large data base and archive of partnumbers, aero parts, and part lists. Besides I had researched a lot of crashed aircraft in the last ten years ;)

Very impressive I must say!I have another 2 crash sites that I am inspecting at the moment, both about 2-3 Km´s away from where I live (have´nt found anything yet though)! The oldest lady in the village told me some"good old stories"of her childhood!Very interesting but incredibly hard to find the site if you don´t know EXACTLY where it is(needle in the hay stack!!)!!So anyway Pathfinder I hope you will be helpfull again when it comes up to identifying more plane parts! Thanks again bye Stuart S.

Short Stirling MK 3..the scale looks like it comes from a MK 14 Bombsight computer fitted to MK3`s from 1943 to early 44.
