Here we are ! It is time for Ragnarok Online Europe to find its champions by organising its annual PVP tournament ! Teams of 7 players will fight against each other until we know who is the best, who will go to Seoul, South Korea, on November 1st to 3rd, to defend Europe’s colours against other international teams at RWC 2012!
Here are the countries allowed to join in:
• Austria
• Belgium
• Bulgaria
• Cyprus
• Czech Republic
• Denmark
• Estonia
• France
• Finland
• Germany
• Greece
• Hungary
• Ireland
• Italy
• Luxembourg
• Malta
• Netherlands
• Norway
• Poland
• Portugal
• Romania
• Scotland
• Slovakia
• Slovenia
• Spain
• Sweden
• Switzerland
• The United Kingdom
• Turkey
7-player teams + 1 substitute if needed
Registrations
- Registrations will open on August 13th and close on August 24th at 12:00am. Any registration made outside the time frame shall be denied.
- 16 teams
- The leader of each team shall register by sending an email to rwc@gravityeu.com with the following details:
Team name
Last name, First name, E-mail address, ingame character name and a copy of an ID document of all the team members.
The chosen eighth-finals date
The first 16 teams that apply properly will enter the tournament.
Rules
- Each guild can only set up one team containing exclusively players from this guild. A second guild might be accepted if there are slots remaining at the end of the registrations. There is no restriction for mixed-up teams (from several different guilds)
- Qualifications will feature old Transcendant classes only: Lord Knight, Paladin, High Wizard, Professor, Sniper, Clown/Gypsy, High Priest, Champion, WhiteSmith, Creator, Assassin Cross and Stalker.
- The Worldwide Tournament, however, will officially be using post-Renewal classes for the first time: Rune Knight, Royal Guard, Warlock, Sorcerer, Ranger, Wanderer, Archbishop, Sura, Mechanic, Genetic, Guillotine Cross and Shadow Chaser.
At most only 1 of each class may be on your "battle team".
- Rules are the same as in War of Emperium (Siege mode)
- We will be checking for multi-clienting across teams, any instance of such will result in team disqualification, it is the leader's responsibility to be sure that a player is ONLY playing on their team.
- If you are short handed that is unfortunate but we cannot wait for members to show up, a disqualification or playing short-handed will be required. This is a simulation of RWC, which doesn’t allow any delay.
- Only players from WoE-active guilds are allowed. We reserve the right to refuse any team which doesn’t comply with this rule.
- The official language from GMs will be English
We are studying the possibility to set a training server up for registered teams.
When the registration period ends, the matches will be decided by drawing lots.
Here are the official dates for qualification matches:
Eighth-finals (8 teams) : August 27th
Eighth-finals (8 teams) : August 28th
1/4 finals : August 30th
Finals : August 31st
Matches will start at 8:00PM following a schedule that will be defined later.
There are only 8 spots for each eighth-finals day. First come, first served. Once the 8 spots are filled, it is no longer possible to sign up for this date.
We are looking for the most talented players to represent Europe in the great championship, so make sure you are ready to prove you are worthy enough to fly there !
