    Possible Bf 109G spinner
    Hi all,

I am posting one particular part from Bf 109G-6 of III./ JG 4 (W.Nr. 166164), lost on September 11th, 1944 (Uffz. Heinz Schien KIA).
My opinion is that this should be a part of a propeller spinner. Especially due to the part marked on photos by a red arrow. We have recovered some these pieces from various crashsites and my opinion was that this is a part related to the Prop spinner. But now I am confused, since can not find it on any drawing or Bf 109 propeller spinner. Another confusion for me is, that there are two level metal. While one is alluminum, the other looks like a steel and is also very strong.
Length of this part is ca 60 cm.

This photo shows outside of that part. Blue arrow shows a curcular hole, where I was believing went thru the prop blade

    2)
Inner view. You can see the two levels metal, one steel and other alluminum.

A part mentioned in the first paragraph and on above photos marked by a red arrow), that I had in my mind associated with the propeller spinner. But now I can not find it on drawings and part lists (Ersatzteilliste). It has number 9-1208732-09.13, so I am confused... but for sure a very easy question for some of you :-)

Any opinion will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

... so meanwhile I have found an answer self...

Yes, this si the Bf 109 prop spinner. The mentioned and numbered part was for connecting the spinner to the prop blade reducer (on the three tubuses that hold the prop blade and contain the prop blade angle setting mechanism).
