I went shopping on saturday every person I stood near was huge. Irish people are naturally munchkins, there are a few excetions, but lately everywhere I go there are monsters.
Myself & my husband were queueing for a sandwich & we both at the same time started swaying & singing "umpa loompa dibbedy do". There were two girls in front of us who were over 6ft tall. Freaks I tells ya!

I still condiser myself short, and I'm about 5"10', but I'm the shortest out of all my friends. So I'm the stereotypical short fat kid. At least amongst my friends :P

That's my friend Jens, he's not sure what height he is, but in the swimming pool the water comes to his chin, 1.83m

I'd say he'd be nearing 7 foot, easy.
And before the top page had loaded fully, I was about to comment that jens is one ugly woman, then I found out it was a guy :P So I'm not really sure if that would still be considered an insult :?

He's looking better since he moved back to Ireland, he got his hair cut & he's put on some weight. He hasn't been well :(

Remember the annoying girl I mentioned last week who abused my pool cue? Well I think she finally got the message. She asked to borrow the cue, within two minutes banged it off the table & started to poke some guy with it. I took it off her & she never asked to use it again. I was glad that she abused it again so quickly. I don't like people at my stuff.

Good stuff, I'm fairly blunt, so I would've just told her to feck off. Especially if it's a really good thing they're borrowing and poking people with it.

One of my brothers is 5ft 4, never caused him a problem. At times being short is a pain, especially when My arse keeps hitting the pavement :lol:

Looking back at the picture, the Gap jumper that you're wearing, reminds me too much of the USA jumpers that were the fashion here awhile ago. Which also reminds me why I hate people these days :P It was cool, in Australia, to wear USA jumpers, And people who wore the AUS jumpers were ridiculed because "they couldnt afford the good stuff". Even though it was exactly the same jumper, just with our country, not Americas on the front.

I kinda resent the GAP jumper, but I needed a hoodie. All the women's ones were very flimsey & only came to the waste. I wanted something I could throw on & keep warm, long enough to cover my bum & black. Why do clothing manufacturers think that all women like pink.
Honestly it was the only one I could find that was suitable, I hate labels

There wasa joke I heard froma comedian recently, you might know him, sinc's Irish, Jimeon. He was saying how good it is when you get a bargain when you buy clothes, like, you go to your mates and say things like "See this shirt? $5, bargain.". You can't do that with expensive things, you can't go up to your mates and say "See this shirt? $500.", because your friends will say, "You bloody idiot."

There is an American guy who comes into the pub some times. He's a nice guy & all but he was telling us one night that he only wears hockey shirts that cost about $500 each. now I just think he's an idiot. Just wait until he's not living with his parents, see how mant shirts he buys.

That's just ridiculous, I had a friend on YT who wanted to buy me a Detroit Red Wings shirt, but she said she couldnt afford it, and I told her I wouldnt let her buy me one anyway, but then she'd said she'd get me one anyway, IF they didnt cost, as you said, $500. I was shocked, I didnt even know shirts could cost that much.
And that's $500 American :?

See this is funny I think I am extremely tall.. at 5'7" I feel this way because my mom and my sister are shorter than me 5'5" and 5'4"(mom)
So around my family I get kind of egotistical about it.. you know until my astoundingly huge ex highschool football friends come and stick their enormous hands that are the size of my face out and I realize again.. *sigh* Im nothing unusual at all.

My husband, at 5ft 8 is taller than everyone in his family. What's funny though is that at 5ft 2 I'm taller than everyone in his family except him

My nan was 4"7', I think, somewhere around there, and my pa was 6 foot :P
I think my nan might've been smaller then that, because I was taller than her in grade 6 :P
