    new crashplace found
    Hello forum,

This aircraft was stroke by a lightning and crashed later one because of bad weather. People told me that it was a german aircraft and 4 people died in the crash. Haven't find out much yet but found some parts. Attached you'll find the pictures. There are numbers on some.

There was a platic sheet too (white part in the middle of picture 1). Looks like it was something like a flightplan for the navigator and/or pilot. Courses or directions and personal notes are writen on the little plate. Does anyone have an idea what that could be?

    Thanks,

    Kurtl

    Hi Kurtl,

you have found a crash site of an Ju-88 ;)

On the second photo the number 3115.4 indicated the material of this part. Here it must be
aluminium. Sadly the complete part number is not readable...

Maybe you can find more parts !?

    Regards
    Nils

    Nils, thanks for that answer.
But could you explain to me how you come to the resolution that it was a JU 88?

because "3115.4" is the German, i will say "DIN NORM", for the Iarcraft parts

    Kurtl,

on the second photo you can see the middle of the part number "-88".
This number indicated a part of an Ju-88
A part number of an Ju-188 have this part number : "-188"

PS: The rivets here show the typical kind of german rivets, because they are (most) flat and broad...

Thanks for that explanation. It really makes sense. I did not doubt that it was german because of the eyewitnesses. About the numbers I did not know that "88" stands for Ju 88. It is that simple...

    Your help was much apprechiated!

Here I found some new interesting parts:

1: "RRG 10a, Lieferer: C.Lorenz A.G., Gerät Nr. 124-416B-1, Werk Nr (nicht mehr lesbar), AnforderZ Ln 28049"

    2: "6 Entlüftungsrücklaufltg. Kraftstoff"

3: Die Aufschrift auf dieser kleinen Abdeckung lautet: "Im Notfall Dauerstrich". Könnte in der Führungskanzel gewesen sein...

4: Der große Teil (Schiene) in meinem ersten Fundzusammenstellungsfoto ganz unten. Ich denke, es war Teil des Fahrwerkes. Hier die Aufschrift im Detail:

5: Hydraulikventil mit Bauteilnummer und Rundstempel "GR51"

    Möglicherweise kennt jemand diese Teile?

    Grüße,

    Kurtl

    Kurtl,

I have here some parts identified:

    Ln28049 = Rahmen für Röhrengerät RG10

R8-8820-1205 = Kreuzstück der Einziehstrebe für Fahrgestell (Ju-88A-1)

I'm sorry to all english reader. I forgot about the language. Here is the translation:

3: The letters on that small parts are "IM NOTFALL DAUERSTRICH" which means "IN EMERGENCY DAUERSTRICH" Wow, what's "Dauerstrich" in english? Sorry, I don't know. Could be part of the cockpit.

4: big part in the lower section of my first picture in first post about that subject. Think it was part of the landing gear. Here are the letters on it:

5: Hydraulicvent with numbers on it

    Maybe someone knows that parts?

@Nils: Thanks for your great help. Do you have drawings of the identified parts you might could post here? I'll keep you involved about my findings. Hey, what's a "Röhrengerät"?

    Regards, Kurtl
