I just want to let you guys know, that I have some problems with my internet connection again !!! I need to get me a new stick to connect to the internet (although I just got a new one!) - for now my son plugged in a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong cable so I can get online and check on my emails. I hope I can be back online soon and talk to you again. I hate to have this cable when the kids are around, so I´ll only come online while they are not around. I hope you understand.

Hey I understand completly - I have had my share of long cords and believe me they are no fun. I'll just be glad when I can get my computer for my house - right now it looks like I'm going to have to have the plumber out :cry:

I have a laptop and broadband connection at home, but I prefer to sign in here from work, seeing as the download speed is faster!

Since I don't have a computer at home yet, I sign in from work - definitely much faster. I'm normally here between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. EST. At home I'll have to get a wireless connection unless I want to tie up the home phone line by being remotely connected to our works internet. It's only like $8.00 per month to be hooked into the U of L connection - that's what I had before my computer bit the dust.

Are you talking about a wireless adaptor? I have one of those but don't know how to use it.

With wireless you can carry your laptop anywhere. Keri is taking hers with her to Hawaii.
I was reading in the ul news that they are starting a "loan program" for computers. It's where you can take out a loan to purchase one. I'll need to read up on that. They also offer Cell phone service now.....

yes, I used to have a wireless connection ... :wink:. I have a new stick now, but for some reason my son didn´t install the new software yet ...
I FINALLY MADE IT !!! I´m sick !!! I already didn´t feel well ( I told you) and instead of staying home I went to work. I guess, it was a mistake. I had such a hard time breathing right at work and started coughing real bad, cause the air is so try. I went to see my doctor and he told me to stay home and RELAX !!! He also gave me a certificate that I need to stay home next week-end (no work!)! Need to go there again next monday and have a check. Plus I need to see my gynecologist. My doctor couldn´t find a reason for this pain I have for a few days now ... it´s not bad, but it makes me feel uncomfortable. I just want to make sure that I´m ok. My little daughter has "worms" - LOL - you can imagine that I was starring at my daughter´s doctor with mouth wide open, when she told me about it !!! Now she needs to take some special pills for three days and she is not allowed to got to kindergarden ( :x ). When I told my doctor, he gave me some pills too ... doesn´t this sound like an interesting day?

Glad you are taking some time off to rest - but hate that you are sick. I'm trying to get sick again....same ole same ole. I hate to hear your daughter is sick too.
Checked on the Loan program for Computers and there is a 6 month wait. In 6 months I could have money saved - provided nothing comes up that will take it up.
Keri's prom went well she was worn out Sunday from it. Said she danced 4 hours - teens...wish I had some of her energy.
Today is the first day of the summer semester and it's been busy but mainly professors - no students :D course that could change as I've about 4 hours left here. :roll:
Think I may go find something to eat. It's pretty and the weather warm.

Seems like 2007 will be our year of sickness !!! LOL I´ve never heard of these worms before !!! They also may be the reason why I feel sick in my stomach sometimes ... who knows.
I have a story to tell you!!! Happened last Friday !!! I´ll post it later after my aerobic class (yes, I know ! I should stay home :oops: )!
Do you have some pics of Keri? Dancing for 4 hours? No problem! If I would have the chance to go out dancing I would make it a 5 hours !!!!!! I´m so hungry for it !!!
Damn, I hope that much, that you´ll get a computer for home soon!!! Would be nice chatting with you on a Sunday afternoon - lol

Yeppers 2007 will be long remembered as the "year of sickness"
I did manage to fledge one photo of Keri - she's got a bunch of them on the digital camera and we need to print them off.
There are worms called (I'll spell it like it sounds) trick a moses - it's mainly a form of worm that comes from not eating spoiled or raw meats. I had a bout with it back in college and I had a lot of cramping, running to the bathroom etc. This is the main reason I don't like hamburgers from resturants.

you need to copy the img code not the url link !!! then you only need to copy the whole code ([img]http:/ .... [/img]) with the image in brackets and then paste it in your text without adding the image in brackets again!
I can see the second pic, but not the first one - nor do I see your photobu cket, just one picture[/code]

ok - I edited your post and deleted some of the img brackets - now everyone should be able to see the pics ...
don´t use the img you can see when you reply to a post ... only paste the img code from photobucket - that´s enough! No need to use the once from the board !

I went in and read it - I use to get notices that there were new messages and topics here but now I don't get them anymore.
Also I belong to Sean and Tokala's site but there is not much activity going on - on their new board. Sean has posted some wonderful photos there of Bury My Heart. He mentioned that every indiana actor that was ever known was going to be in this movie but I've not heard if Mike or Eddie was going to be in it.
I'm not going to be able to watch Bury My Heart because it's on a station I don't have :cry: and I don't have an extra 50.00 to purchase the upgraded package. The cable package I have now doesn't include the movie channels so unless it's on a ppv one - I'll have to wait.
