What really was quite obvious with the last crysis vids I saw was, that crysis will make heavy use of particle effects. These particle effects are multithreaded according to crytek, so eventually a Quad - Core CPU would really make sense for that game.
Intel actually promotes Crysis as a "Quad - Core" game.
Speaking of quad - core support? - Alan Wake is fully optimized for that.
Well I think its the only game that can compete with the Crysis technology any time soon.

Well right now only a MMORPG called "Aion" will use the Cry Engine 2, personally I m more into Offline RPGs.

I am realy looking forward to this. I realy liked far- cry it's one of the few games I have played for years.
Don't think I will be running it on a quad core for a year or two though.
Dx10 is starting to look rather intresting and not that far of.
Some late nights going :shock: await.

I like the look of those alan wake shots too. I'm getting very excited by the dx10 stuff, just waiting on the new ati cards to make my decision, then i'm gonna splash some cash.
