router problems
hi i had been using cable broadband for many years but due to virgin media pissing me off for the last time i changed to BT and now have a router wirelesss up to 8 meg dl now this router thing is new to me
when i first connected to u torrent i was only getting dl speeds @ 30kbs
but after looking in a few forums and some tweeks i managed to get dl speeds of 840kbs but i tweeked to much and now im only hitting 500kbs on u torrent any help with routers will be most welcome all this port shit is new to me so plz do help

i had 10 meg cable and 2 meg on differant ocasions ill leave you my results on u torrent incase they help

2meg cable................10meg cable............8 meg adsl
250kbs max...............1.1meg max............840kbs max
...............................................................now its 500

any help in making this connection stable

my speed is always fine mabe its the fact iv got 16mb connection and i can change to cable if wireless goes down
