I almost done with my work for the festival next week. There are only a few copies missing and I still need to work on the summaries for the actors ... ordered the pics for the presentation today and will get them next Thursday. Pat wants to talk to Eddie and Michael again. They thought that I am Annie from Native Celebs and that´s why they didn´t get in contact. I told them that deadline is Monday - but that will already be too late to get some professional pics for Friday. When I get the copies done on Monday I will finally find some time to relax a bit next week - one day would be fine. I´ll work on the summaries this week-end to make it happen ... I really need to relax. Do you know that feeling when you need to get things done and feel like loosing the overview? That´s how I feel right now. I called my mom yesterday to ask her something and when she answered the phone I couldn´t even remember what I wanted to say ... lol ... my brain was totally empty. This happens to me lot of times in these days and it´s scary. I couldn´t even remember the name of my daughter´s godfather ... it´s a sign that I´m totally stressed. But it´s all for a good cause and so I will make it somehow.

aawwww Anne,
ofcourse your stressed out and i do hope you will have at least a couple of hours ( hopefully a whole day) to totally relax and just amke your mind empty of things to do

I can´t tell you either ... I don´t think that there is anything wrong with her. She is hosting a website called Native Celebs and I guess, most of you have been to that site already ...
There is probably nothing wrong.
I hope they´ll get in touch, but I doubt ...
I have a day off at work!!! Something broke in the stock and so they can´t get our materials out ... lol ... they are trying to fix it for 4 days now!!! It´s good for me on the one hand, cause I will have some extra time with my kids and some time to relax, but it´s also bad, cause again I´ll loose 70% for the Sunday and because I asked for days off for next WE, I´ll have less money again next month and that sucks !!!

lol - oh yes, I was sleeping a lot yesterday!!! It was raining and it was stormy, so it was a perfect day to just be lazy !!!! I was also working a bit - but only a bit !!!
This morning we woke up and looked outside : SNOW !!!! ... and it´s still snowing ! Damn, the weather is really going crazy! I know for sure, that the snow will be gone in a few again ... and the kids are talking about going outside and finally build a snowman !!! They will be disappointed again, cause the snow is too wet and it´s already melting ... but just to look at their faces is fun ... they are all excited !!!
I have a lot of things on my list of things to do for today ... I´d better start getting it done - lol

We had very cold temps over the weekend - was supposed to get to 68 today but don't think it's going to make it. I wore short sleeves and brought a jacket burrr.....I'm ready for spring.

I wish it snowed here. I feel deprived that I've never been able to build a snowman *lol* One day I will visit Europe or the US in Winter so I can see snow for the first time in my life! :D

I only had a short break - lol - I´ve sent all my files to the copyshop yesterday expecting the copies to be done by today so I can finally send everything to the cinema ... :evil: but this guy didn´t even open the files to check on them !!! So I will have to go there in an hour and he´ll do it then. I´ll take the copies back home with me and then hopefully make it to the post office this afternoon !!! So, where does all the stress come from ?

I think a lot of it comes from worry and having a lot to do. I remember when we moved - I thought I was going to pull my hair out....working and moving - making sure to get everything - disposing of things I didn't need...I literally almost collapsed.

Believe me once you get settled in to your new place - the stress won't be so bad. In fact the first time I moved away from home, my stress levels went way down.

I hate to here this and pray you don't come down with it. Keri is home sick with stomach upsets - she got sick at school yesterday and had a really rough time last night. I just got off the phone with her and she's still not feeling well. I told her to drink plenty of Ginger Ale and if she had to eat to eat rice or toast. It's just a virsus that is going to have to run it's course. Thankfully she has no fever and hopefully I won't get the darn thing. She hates to miss school and of course play practice but it just can't be helped. How much work would she get done in the bathroom?

Emma still has a fever and we were up over 2 hours with her nose bleeding really bad - I was pretty close to call the doctor, cause it didn´t want to stop and then she couldn´t breath right. All the blood was running down her throat and it made it hard for her to swallow and breath. Everytime she swallowed, she was pressing out some more blood out of her nose - it was scary. Finally I put some ice on her nose and that helped.
It was snowing all night and we have a wonderful winter landscape outside - lol - now that it is spring! I only got up to get Milena ready for school and now I´ll try to get some more sleep as long as Emma is sleeping ... I hope I´ll get the rest of my work done today ...

I hope Emma will get better as the day goes on. Has she blown her nose so much that the membranes have been irritated.
Keri went back to school today - she has 2 tests and a research paper to turn in too she doesn't want to miss play practice since the play opens next weekend.
It just seems like once you get sick with something - it just lingers or you get sick again....no one can shake it.

thanks for the supersize hug - the weekend didn't get any better. Had Linda and Sandy done their job Friday morning - me and Nancy would not have been frantically looking for 2 sets of missing keys. Well come to find out Saturday Janice and Carol did not want to call someone to come and unlock the safe - so they stuck them in a green box and pushed it back to the back - they got "verbal warnings" and the whole dept got in trouble. I never assume anything there anymore...too Sat night we were one off - because one again Carol forgot to "log" her diamond sale in. I'm so sick and tired of cleaning up others mistakes. Too security got onto the other Nancy and then one of the store managers got onto me...We told Betty about it and I'm not going to be talked to like that - not everyone is that way but I want to get out of there just as bad as everyone else. Too don't accuse me of something unless you can back it up. She said to me in a hateful voice "Are you sure you counted right" and the security said to the other Nancy "Oh no this is happening every night"...and said it in a pissy way which is not like her. Nancy was fumeing as myself. So I'm planning on giving "notice".

oh well, my life didn´t really change - lol
Emma is still sick - she´s doing better, but she is still not fine. She has a bad virus infection and her body is just too weak to fight it. She lost lots of weight and still can´t stay up very long. She got some new meds now and the doctor wants to see her again in two days to check on her. It´s been a week of restless nights now. Because I had to take Emma to my doctor (her doctor´s office is closed for 3 weeks), he wanted to check on my blood pressure, but when I told him what I´m going through right now, he said, that it doesn´t make sense. He is concerned, cause he knows about the story with the copyright fight and that my lawyer is not helping me ( he is asking for his money and he wasn´t in his office for our last appointment, plus he never appologized for not being there and there were important things we needed to talk about, because we were running out of time - now he wrote me a letter that I would have to pay him tomorrow and if not he will get me in trouble. I won´t pay him, cause he didn´t do anything to deserve the money - Now I need another lawyer to take care of both cases - ain´t this great?) Anyways, my doctor looked at me and asked me how long I´m gonna take all this. He knows that I´m working every week-end and although they said that will only be till April it will go on for this summer !!! I really need a break !!! Another 2 1/2 weeks and Milena´s holy communion will be ... after that I think I will have a breakdown. I can already feel it! It´s just been too much ! Too much to worry about and it doesn´t seem to stop. I hope that much that my daughter will be fine and that Milena will stay healthy. The kids will be with me for the next 2 weeks, cause my ex and his mom are both sick as well ... so there is nobody to help me with the kids and I wonder how I will get everything done for the communion. I know I will make it somehow, but it will be a lot of work. Right now Emma is sleeping. Means that I will have another restless night and as long as she´s taking her nap, I will try to clean up a bit.

thank you !!! Emma is doing much better !!! But I don´t feel good - I feel weak and my nose is running ... people from work called yesterday and asked me to come to work tomorrow, cause of Easter (I won´t have to take a day off then, cause the factory will be closed and everybody will have to ask for a vacation day for Saturday then). So this is my last day off for this week and it´s almost over ... I hope that much I won´t get sick. I need to go to the doctor with Emma on Friday morning then and see what´s going on. On Monday we go and pick up Milena´s dress for the communion. I hope that much that I will find a day to rest next week. I really need it. I´m working on some changes and updates for my website, too. It needs to be updated after the festival and I want to put up the latest info as soon as possible. The weather is changing again. We had a few sunny days and now there is a grey sky again ! May be that I feel tired and weak because of this as well ...

Glad Emma is doing better and now you need to take care of yourself. Have you tried Cold-Ez - I don't know if they sell that in Germany or not but it's like a cough drop that really helps beat out head colds and runy noses. Looks like the storms have moved through for the time being but we're to have more this afternoon.
Keri will be packing this next week for NY - and myself getting ready to go camping. I doubt we'll do much hiking but I am looking so forward to going back to Cherokee. Seems forever since I've been there.

you were backyard camping - I am a creature comforts girl too - use to when we'd go camping when I was younger - it was in the summer time and there was always a stream to jump into. However I'm use to taking a shower every morning and that's going to be the hard part. My one comfort is they have working restrooms with toilet paper - :)

:D Speaking of toilet paper- did you know that lunatic Al Gore wants everyone in the US to stop using tp for a whole year? Just thought I would let you in on the craziness. I could go into more, but that would be political, and I want to keep this board happy. :wink: PS- most toilet paper now is made from recycled consumer papers, even if it's only 10%, that's better than 20 years ago.
Anyway :D :D , hope Anne is feeling better and the girls are too. We have been passing the sinus infection around our house. Not fun- so I greatly sympathize with you and Enelya. We have been having very nice weather here in Ohio, and the trees are budding. Allergy season is beginning :roll: , so maybe everyone will finally be able to get their windows open and get some fresh air. Ahhhhhh...cough....cough....Ahhhh.

I don't like the idea of anything I use being bleached. Are you saying that only 10% of the paper is actually recycled, Mouse? I still think we could do better than that.

I think Al Gore is very controverse. His movie was shown back here, but I couldn´t make it. His basic idea is a good one, but sometimes ... but yes, this would be to political. Better to leave it like this.
But the tp-idea is really a crazy one - lol - any suggestions what to do instead? - lol

I didn't know that about TP :roll: I've not seen Al Gore's movie so I can't judge but I agree with you all - just leave it.
Well we may end up in a cabin because Linda is trying to catch a cold. Cabins are nice but we'll see. I'll be leaving early today because of opening night - I did covience Keri to let me get a photo of her in her outfit.

Well it should be interesting enough - the last time I went camping/hiking was with a bunch of friends from school. The Campground we're looking at is right on the Cherokee Reservation. We can either sit up the tent or rent one of the trailers - too this campground has full bathroom facilities and showers :D got creek sites. I also found out from Linda last night that Da Da will be starting his new medication that week. He is attention deficite and slightly handicapped. Linda got custody of him 2 years ago from his drug/alcoholic mom - he was born with alcolo fetal syndrome. His mother is a druggie. Linda noticed bruises on his arms - seems his mom's boyfriend was using ropes on him. She doesn't take him many places by hisself because of his acting up but he really is crazy about Keri course she'll be in NY but he's fine with me. Wish her son Joey was going - Joey can really keep him in line - course too Deshawn has never been to the reservation - so he might really be ok.

It would be neat if we all could go camping together and you know what is funny but I keep thinking of the "pink dress" storey - it popped in my head for some strange reason.

No, I meant most toilet paper companies use at least 10% recycled paper in their products. Now- there are some companies who use more of a percentage, and some who use less. But 10% is about average. Yes I agree that more should be used. I buy recycled products whenever I can because they are supporting a good cause and a healthy lifestyle.

Well, that's great that you use recycled products! Another way to help the earth that people don't consider much is buying locally made produce. Not many people stop to think about the impact that importing goods has on the environment. Think about all the fuel that it used to get it here! Sadly, I think most people only look at the bottom line when they buy food and clothing, and will pretty much buy whatever is cheapest, without thought to where it came from. That aside, I think that supporting local farmers is the right thing to do anyway.

I agree - I come from a line of farmers - I can remember as a teen going out to the garden and picking some corn, or tomotoes. Whever we would come back home - the trunk was always loaded down with home grown items. I still go to the "open markets" where farmers have their home grown produce for sale....something about it makes it so much nicer...and tastier.

Yes, I buy recycled- even clothes and shoes from the thrift shop. I figure, I donate to them, so why not shop there too? Support your local businesses and support your livelyhood. That's what we should be doing instead of messing around with the Middle East. The US really doesn't need to buy their oil- but since we are in a "world economy", our government has to patrol the world and make nice with everyone. I say there are some things we (meaning the USA) shouldn't be buying elsewhere when we have enough in our own resources. But that is why I'm a peon and not a politician- they would boot me out of the oval office so fast.... :twisted:

Now it´s just another two days to the communion of my daughter and everybody is getting nervous about it ... I´ll be going to IKEA in half an hour to get my new table for the living room (a huge one - lol) and some other stuff I really NEED (lol - if you know what I mean). There are only a few more things I need to get from the stores, but I need to get them Saturday morning. I´ll cook for my guests and Milena asked for Lasagne !!!! She loves Lasagne. So I´ll make two different kinds of Lasagne and my sister, my mom and my ex´s mom will make some salad and a cake each. So I only need to get the table and the room decorated and the Lasagne done on Saturday. Plus there will be people coming to bring gifts and of course, I´ll have to ask them in. But that´s fine with me. I´ll be drunk by the end of the day - lol - having too much champagne!
We´ll celebrate with the family on Sunday and then with friends on Monday! And we need to go to church three times !!! Sunday morning, Sunday evening and then Monday morning again !!! I´m really looking forward to seeing my girl in her dress, but I´m also happy when it´s all over ...
Tonight I´ll stop by at my friend´s place (the one who is my hairdresser as well) and she´ll look after Milena´s hair and what we will do for Sunday.
ok - got to run !!! Keep on posting - I may not have that much time to stop by and talk to you all, but I´ll try !!! You´ll get to see pictures for sure!

Just stopped by to check on the board and my emails ... we all need to get ready and I start to get nervous !!! It´s another beautiful day and so the kids will shine in the sun! WONDERFUL! I´ll take tons of pics and try to post some of them tonight.
I got everything done on time and so it wasn´t that much stress - only the cooking took me a few hours, but that was fine with me ... I also had some time to relax in the sun.
My ex will be here in an hour ...

Things have sort of got back to the norm. I will post some more photos as soon as I can. My scanner went bonkers on me so I just got a few on - mainly the ones I took with my cell phone and transferred to yahoo.

This is my first time at the computer since Sunday ... LOL ... damn, I was soooooooooooooooooooooooo tired Sunday night !!!
It was a wonderful and peaceful day! My daughter was so happy and so was I !!! Well, I spent most of the time in the kitchen and I had a terrible headache, but I kind of enjoyed the day. I didn´t even get any of the good wine !!! LOL It was a lot of work for me, but everybody told me that it was a wonderful party and that I did a great job with the decoration and the food ... even my ex told me that I did a great job and that he is very grateful that I made it such a special day for our daughter. Whatelse do I want?
I couldn´t take that much pics ... in church it was forbidden and I will have to wait for pictures that were taken by a photographer. A few more pics were taken by my ex-husband´s dad, but I´ll have to wait until they are developed ... . We didn´t even take any pics of the family ... we want to take some more pics at the end of this week. My brother took some pics with his digicam ... I´ll ask him to email them as soon as possible.
I guess, that´s it for now ... tomorrow I will start to clean up. We were still partying today - lol - yesterday I had my "aerobic-ladies" come over and today some of my friends with their kids ... so I had no time to ret. I just cleaned up my appartement and I finally got a bit drunk ... LOL. Now it´s over and Emma will go to kindergarten again tomorrow (FINALLY). Grandma will go and pick the kids up from kindergarten and school and so I have some time to clean up and get back to my normal life.
