I guess many girls and boys are asking "What happened with the Neverwinter Nights 2 Server "Insula Spes"? Will it be released? Why was it so silent in the forum?"
And here I will try to give the answers.
:arrow: First of all: Why was it so silent in the forum?
My apologies that it has become so silent in the forum... everyone in the staff was stucked up in a lot of things from reallife e.g. hospital, travel, work, job and so on... that's why actually we had no time to take a peek here. Anyway, the forum is actually not dead, but it gets a revision. Now you noticed that Insula Spes is pushed down into an own section and another server, Carvahall, is added.
:arrow: What happened with the Neverwinter Nights 2 Server "Insula Spes"?
Well, actually we have worked in the toolset, made some areas and tried to make a good server. But when we started our Alpha-Version-Run, we noticed that NWN 2 is actually quite bad and a lot bugged in Mulitplayer. So we have stopped our work and will wait until Obsidian will make everything better with patches. The NWN Servers are not stable enough.
:arrow: Will it be released?
Maybe... it depends on Obsidian and their patch-politics. :roll:
But everyone who still owns NWN 1 shouldn't be sad: We are working at a nice NWN 1-server. Actually the progress is far, it has over 50 areas, some nice quests, well working scripts and a lot of mystics and secrets who are waiting for curious players. And of course it's also a social server. This module is called Carvahall.
