    Your Christmas wishes?
What do you want for Christmas?

    I have several wishes:

The most important wish is that my friends and family stays healthy and happy - maybe a little bit more happiness for me and my kids ...

I asked Santa to make me happy by telling Michael, Eddie and Jay to get in contact - that´s what is still missing for this year! I don´t know, if I can stand another year waiting for them to answer ... even for Indian time this is way too long !!! LOL I hope Santa can help me with this ...

... and I want to buy me a new table for my livingroom, so I asked for money ... LOL ... then it would be great, if I wouldn´t have to buy me a new camera; I want a Virgil Ortiz jeans (or some of his clothes at all - lol) and a ticket to go to the USA (at least for half a year) including a babysitter for my kids, who will take care of them while I´m gone ...lol... and a job to make some money for my living ... let´s see whatelse is on my mind  ...

    And what´s about you?

I miss her deeply

Mela, she will be with you !!! Please, try not to be too sad - I know it´s easy for me to say something like that, because I´m not in the situation, but try at least. And if it´s getting really bad, you know where to find us!!! I won´t be online that much next weekend, but I´ll try to stop by once in a while and check on my messages and the board - so anytime you need to talk to someone just feel free to drop a line ... nobody should be sad and alone at Christmas!!! That´s why I invited a friend of mine to spend the Christmas night with me and my kids ... it´s the first time her son will stay with his dad and she would be alone then ... she almost started crying when she told me so I asked her to please spend the time with us. Usually the 24th is the time for the family, but I will see my family the 25th and want to be with my kids at the 24th. When I told my kids, they were happy and agreed that my friend should come ... they are looking forward to having her being with us. This story is just to let you know, that Christmas is also a time for making friends happy and if you feel like talking I will take my time ...

I couldn't have said it better. Try not to be too sad, Mela. I'm sure your mother will be with you and watch you. Always. And I'm sure she wouldn't want you to be sad. *big hug*

    Mela,

I agree with Anne and Idril....your mom is your guardian angel she will be there with you. And even though I may not be on here as much as I would like to - you are in my thoughts and prayers. Remember we all love you and we're your family too.

I am sooooo sad now. I cried all morning. it is my moms birthday today.
She would have became 62 today.

    Re: Your Christmas wishes?

    newnativspirit - 22.12.2006, 17:45

62 is a long life ... so she died in the age of 61 which is still a long life ... I thought she was younger ... well, doesn´t change the fact that she is gone and that you are sad. I would be, but try not to think about it in a sad way only ... try to imagine what she would like you to do. Would she like to see you cry? I don´t think so - I think every mom wishes her kids to be happy ... be happy and enjoy life !!! Try at least ... of course it´s also a sign of respect that you are sad ... you miss her - I understand !!! But it doesn´t change the fact that she´s gone - maybe it helps if you start to talk to her - it helps me sometimes ... I mean, tell her why you feel so sad, why you miss her - tell her, that you love her and that you are hurt, because she left you behind ... whatever ... maybe you feel better after you´ve said it loud and it´s no longer enclosed to your heart! Try it ...

I send you a huge friendship hug - hope I could help a little bit, but it´s hard over the distance ... also it´s important that you are sad now !!! You have to learn to deal with the loss of you beloved mom. It will take some time, but it will get better soon !!!

    Idril - 22.12.2006, 18:53

I couldn't have said it better. I always feel so sorry for you when you talk about your mum, because your always sad. But I understand this. I know how it feels to loose someone important, I know how much it hurts. But I'm sure your mother wouldn't want you to cry. Think about the good times you had together and enjoy them again. Don't miss them, because the experiences your made aren't gone. They are still in your heart, just like your mum. She never left you. Her human body might not be on this earth anylonger, but maybe she's watching you from somewhere else smiling when your happy and taking care of you.

    Hey Mela,
I truly understand how you feel. I lost my mother at 7 and my father died 8 years ago. He and I were very close....best friends. Now it's just me in this world. I have other family but I don't know them due to circumstances that happened long before I was born. But my message to you today is you are not alone in this world though it often feels that way. I know that you have friends and hopefully other family. If they ask you to be with them at Christmas take them up on the offer. When my father had just died, I often turned down the invitation to be with others for holidays mainly because I felt as though I was intruding on their family time. But, I have learned over the years that people wouldn't ask you to join them if they didn't mean it. So, please don't stay alone and feel left out. It's ok to cry and it's also ok to have happy laughter and fun during this sad time. Just because you smile or laugh that doesn't mean that you are forgetting your mom or ignoring her memory. I will be here all weekend. I will be with friends for some of the day, but I check my mail everyday. Please feel free to call on me if you need to. I know you don't know me all that well, but know that you have a kindred spirit here.

    Love Always
