last october 7th a woman named Elfriede Jelinek received th nobel prize of literature,she´s from austria if i´m not wrong...but...the weirdest thing is that her texts where never translated to a lot of countries ( colombia between them ),& i want to know if her books are worthy of be readed.cause the copies will arrive soon to everywhere ( you know ¨The NOBEL¨ ).can someone give me an oppinion ?.

Well...yeah, she's from Austria...and she's a pervert...but hm...she's leftwinged and against racism, that's one thing I like about her personality. I don't know if her books are worth to be read but I think (damn, she's maaad) you have to be very strong to bare them. Btw: Keep in mind that a lot of her work is about the playing with language (that's why there haven't been so many translations) and that point would maybe not so easy to be discovered in any translation.
If you want to gain an insight in the plot of her story - telling literature maybe try to watch the movie "The piano player" (don't know if it is called that way in english) first...well, it's shocking and said to be autobiographical btw.

i don't like here either! in school some passages of "The pianoplayer" had been introduced to us by an schoolmate, and they sucked - maybe some people like her work - i don't!!! :axe:
