Da mir die BNI Tour wesentlich besser gefallen hat als die TCFC und Dark/Light Tour -und ich natürlich auch persönlich einiges mit "A Big Night In" verbinde, freue ich mich riesig auf die Weihnachtszeit :D

Ein Kumpel hat mir heute gesagt, dass die DVD wohl doch nicht über den FC zu bekommen ist. Das kann positiv sein (Preis für die DVD), aber auch negativ, falls die DVD nur innerhalb Australiens verschickt wird (es hieß ja "Australian Release"). In dem Fall müsste ich mir die dvd von einem Freund schicken lassen :?

Village Roadshow, in their infinite wisdom have decided to make this disc REGION FREE PAL.
Which means it will play virtually everywhere in the world. Thank God!
I've had lots of emails from North America, Asia, the U.K and Europe asking about
compatibility and all sorts of techie questions and now I'm happy to have the answers.
Expect to be able to find in at HMV.COM.AU or SANITY.COM.AU
Release date December 1st
What is it?
It's my 'Big Night In' tour, desgined by Willie Williams (u2)
A best of show with a twist..recorded at the Sydney Opera House earlier this year.
Filmed in stunning High Definition and mixed in digital 5.1 surround.
It's a 2 disc set with a host of special features including all of the projected
visuals created for the show, a behind the scenes featurette and a special
outtake.
Region Free. PAL format.
We ARE working on a REGION FREE version of my documentary 'Too Close For Comfort'
to be sold online early next year as well.

Ach so... Ich dachte, das läge vielleicht an den Rechten der Songs... Wurde TTATS nicht unter Sony produziert? Und IJWYTLM eben nicht? Vielleicht weil das auf sein neues Album kommt, das eben gar nichts mehr mit Sony zu tun hat.

Don't take my word for it, but I have heard that something extra other than the performance is going to be on the DVD. It might have been someone mixing it with the TCFC DVD though :)
Maybe something already is posted about that earlier in the thread, but I haven't checked through it all :)

I know. It would be awesome to hear that song again. But like I said in another thread here, I guess it's all about it being unreleased, maybe something with Fony (as Darren put it, if I remember it correctly) or somemthing like that. :(

I have one question about Big Night In DVD, It is 2 cd's because on
every website wrote that is 1 cd, but Darren said that will be 2cd.

Oh, in Norway we just got the winter. Again. We have had a few days with snow earlier too, but it rained away. It started snowing again yesterday, and I'm sure it'll all rain away again, though. :)

Well, the album is finished....but the songs are still pretty raw and wouldn't sound too good on the disc yet. As you said, it's about the final touch and more. After the mixing, the album is basically finished and could be released. But NOOO they want to wait until AUGUST! :evil: :lol:
And I hate winter too...but this year, we don't even have a winter :? 15C° in january :roll: :lol:

About weather in Poland ... well it's about 8 - 10 but I from over the sea so it's a little colder there ! :? About album... I was hope it will be release in June or July you know in vacation time, August it's not bad but which day it will be, 1st of August or 30th of August as I know Darren it will be that second date. But not forget about this special performance is somewhere fabolous place !! :D

I have watched disc one. It was just as expected. Awesome! :D
So Beautiful and Darkness were highlights for me, but I also loved Crash and Burn, Strange Relationship and I Like The Way :)
Not that the rest was bad. Not at all! :D
It did bring back the London memories. Good memories. :)

Hmmm....I just don't like the sound of the live version :? I think it's because of the drums (No offence, Mr. Prior ;-) ) and the fact that there's no guitar...

I can agree that it's not as good as the original when it comes to the instruments. But Darrens voice... Man it's great! :)

Gosh I'm not sure, he's been to Germany so many times. But Rock am Ring was like their best performance ever....so cool!!! But you're right. He was also on VIVA, MTV Germany and even a tiny little TV show called GIGA :lol:

I have few interviews and performances from germans TV, one of them it's from Viva Overdrive (more than half hour as I good remember).
In Poland he was only one time :? And it was in april 2002 during the Spin promotion. He performanced in TVP studio in Warsaw... :roll:

I know for a fact that Darren's been in Norway 4 times. 3 times to do a few interviews, and one concert with Savage Garden in 1998.
Far to little if you ask me. Let's hope for a change! :D
