Your first 2 characters need at least 11 defence I think to surivive the combo1 move. Then your 3rd guy needs to deal at least 13 damage and your 4th guy needs to deal at least 10 damage. Your fifth character is basically useless, just there to die :P
So... if you have trouble getting the stats required, invest on some items. It would pay off quickly once you play league fights. Items I mean Amunsword and morning-star or the cheaper alternative of Sun-amulet and Shield. These are the 1-use items
