Very Nice!!! How did you stop the vibration? I am sure with such speakers you have much vibration in the trunk and on the roof?

Yes I've got some vibrations...initially the plate vibrates every bass...then with a bit of silicon (like Saratoga do you know?) and phonoassorber vibrations stopped...now only the front doors vibrate sometimes but i'm planning to buy some new woofers so I'll rebuild the front doors panel :D

This sounds like you know what you want... Yes this Saratoga I have heard of.. There are also other possibilites you can use.. Have you heard of this Black sticky material that you can simply cut and apply it to the metal.. It stops all vibration.. I used this on my trunk..works well

Nice trunk!! Do you know how loud it is??

    Re: My trunk

    ItalianGuy - 12.09.2006, 17:32

How loud?? if you want to know SPL parameters i'm sorry but i haven't them...
If you just want an example read this
My Mp3Player volume at 14/30...you can feel every bass IN the front seat...they vibrate and you can also feel your clothes moving...;)
    Is enough?

I Think what he wants to know is if you have had your system measured using db device.. This device determines how loud your system is in decibels... It is often used at car shows(sound offs)..

So I am not sure if this you have done with your system... I myself have not done this...

I know you wanted DB (SPL competitions use this measure)...next car show I'll test my car...so you can see and judge :D

I think if you have quality things in your trunk.. It does not matter how loud it is unless you competing in a loudness contest...

    Matze - 13.09.2006, 12:49

Yes I wanted to know a spl parameter... doesn't matter when you not have it... ;)

(i don't know what is good or bad in spl parameter 'cause i just want my sound system sounds better...)

    MaNDraxXXx - 01.10.2006, 02:10

    ItalianGuy - 01.10.2006, 12:31

ok...so now what do you think about my sound system?

    Re: My trunk

    MaNDraxXXx - 01.10.2006, 15:12

i cant judge that just by knowing ur dB peak. i tried my best to get the whole car quiet i have 2 pictures online

    http://www.iphpbb.com/board/ftopic-34345126nx14123-872.html

but it didnt help. the bass is just too strong everything vibrates, it depends on the song how awful it sounds. :? :?
