hello, just joined this forum. Nice to see a forum related to my (MB6) model cause there are not many pages about this one.
I need to replace my front brake rotors and brake pads and I am struggling to find an aftermarket rotors that would fit in my car wihtout any other modifications. The problem is the 1.8 version has bigger rotors than the other less powerfull models which have 262mm and can be easily found from various brands. MB6 has bigger ones, think they are 282mm, but I am not sure. I read somewhere that the rotors from Rover 620Ti should fit my model too, but I don't want to order it and than recieve a rotors that would not fit there. My Honda Civic 1.8 Vti was built in UK so maybe the rover from the same year (1997) could have the same brakes.
Does anyone have an experience with fitting an aftermarket rotors on MB6? I would appreciate some info. Thx
P.S. sorry for writing in english, but I guess you will understand it better than if I tried to write it in german...I can understand a bit german, but if it is not a problem for you pls reply in english

I think that I can help :D Since I am American... my english is perfect.. I have a MC2.. with the 1.8 motor.. I also have drilled rotors now on my car.. Front and back... Just got them last week.. I got them from TSS Tuning.. They seem to be good, but I have not driven more 1000 KM yet.. so after this I will test them more... I worker at TSS has also MC2 with these rotors and he is very satisfied...

Wenn der MB6 282x25er Scheiben und 4x 113,4er Lochkreis hat, dann passen auch die Scheiben vom Accord Coupe. :wink:

Der MB6 hat 4x114,3.
Es passen u.a. die Scheiben vom Prelude BB2.

Maybe i can help a little, but my english is not perfect :wink:
the front brake discs have only 23mm. The problem at these cars is that the most aftermarket parts have the wrong dimensions and the don´t know that they are wrong.
I searched a lot for finding some brakes. When you only need the same like oem, then you get some from nipparts, nisshinbo, brembo, jurid. But be carefull not all the Parts are correct. You have to check all dimensions to be sure.
When you wan´t to upgrade a little. Then you can take the discs like those from TSS but the same you get it from www.at-rs.de cheaper. And when you don´t need a abe (i don´t know the english word for that) you can buy it from www.bremsa.ch there are they to cheap :D
