WOW!!! What a ton of pictures...trying to save time, didn't look at them all, but what I saw was good. Some decent shots of Pete in there, he's tough to get...believe me, I've been trying. :D
There'll be more from that show when I get back to the States.

Thank you Michi, I'm glad you liked my review but I'm feeling a bit funny today. Yesterday was the only concert for me, and I feel like I've chosenthe "wrong" one. The jucy, red cherry with the worm inside.
The music was great, don't get me wrong, but it's hard to believe how much a boring company can spoil the experience; and since we are going down this way I will have to complain about my own sister and friend leaving me to dance alone for quite a while. :-(
There was somebody who looked quite a VIP a couple of rows behind us, don't know who he was, but the official photographers had been taken pictures of him and his partner. Anyway, he was quite game and stood up after a while and I believe it was his complains that made the security guards calm down a little bit.
Next time anyway no more Warwick Castle! Burn the seats, I'm going to stand!

Vialattea.......next time you have to let Simply Red just take you away!!!!!!!! I sat alone for both of concerts in November. Sasred & R Tattoo were in the house with me.......however not close by. I danced and sung along with Mick and the band the entire concert :-D I had no clue what was going on around me!!! I acted a fool all by myself :D :D
So next time just come alone or ignore the company you're with !!!!!!! As Shannon says just "ride the groove" :-D

:top Hear, hear. If you can sit absolutely stone still to this setlist, you need your vitals checked. After a third of the set had gone with everyone being prim and proper, and the band started tearing into "Come To My Aid", I said "Sod you lot, I'm up and dancing!!!!!!" :devil

I wonder if this Daily Mail promotion has something to do with a rather indifferent crowd ending up in the front blocks. Or maybe it was the strings at the Simplified tour that got someone to believe they where going to watch another kind of show...
My sister (who's a '70s rock veteran) even brought ID with her in case there where problems with the police :D :D , I've teased her quite a lot about it... and to get back at me while we were waiting to get in the grounds, noticing quite a number of senior people, she said that the tour title shoud have been changed from "Summer Nights" into "Let's Take Granny to the Concert".
One thing is for sure, our own Granny would have rocked! Horray for the young at hearts!

I was so trying to avoid the age thing, but yes, I noticed (particularly at Liverpool)--the audience could have been my parents or better, I was clearly the youngest there by a mile. Now, I have nothing against anyone based on age alone--but when you ACT the "old codger" part, that's when I get a bit irritated. While one still has life on this planet, one should LIVE it, yeah? I think of my great-grandmother, who at the age of 80 was begging my dad to take her for rides in his Mustang through states with no interstate speeding limit (meaning my dad would be doing at least 120 mph), with his favorite rock tunes blaring. Sweetie could rock out to Hendrix, Uriah Heep, and Deep Purple with the best of 'em. "Crank it, Charlie!!!!!!!" :D :D :D :D :D
Guess I've got a bit of her in me. :wink: And I KNOW she's looking down on me from heaven right now and smiling. :top She would have loved a trip like this.
