Glenn und Co sind grad fleißig mit den Arbeiten am neuen Album beschäftigt.
Hier a paar Insider News:

Long Dark Lonely Road - (a song Glenn had written over 10 years ago and finally got around to recording it). This song will probably end the album as the last song. One of the best Danzig songs to date. Slow, dark and dreary, a song about dying, but of course with Glenn's vocals - the result is very embracing. For being such a dark song, I think this will be a fan favorite. Glenn describes it as a 50's song and I would say it reminds me of a 50's ballad with dark lyrics and oh yes I hear 'elvis' in there with the vocals at times. My Coke bottle from dinner might make the track as it was used for some overdubs to get some crazy odd sounds from the guitar. (Trivia - this is how GD came up with those wind noises for the song 'Initium' on the bass)
Black Candy - Another song I was able to hear with vocals. Another great song that might be played 'live' on the upcoming CA shows in February. Mid-tempo song with classic Danzig vocals. Definitely looking forward to hearing this live.
Last night Tommy was recording some leads for a couple of songs, but Glenn did not mention the names for those songs just yet. The songs were killer and it's great to hear Tommy Victor pulling off some just great leads and squeals, which give it that evil sabbath vibe. Tommy is one talented guy. Glenn gives him the order of what he hears in his head and Tommy is such the professional that he learns and interprets Glenn's ideas amazingly. Really cool to watch.
Glenn is working with Chris Riker on this album which is the same engineer from COS. I will keep you posted as the record progresses.
PS - Glenn played me the studio versions of 'Angel of Death' and 'NOLA' from the Hank III 6/6/6 show and let me tell you, these versions are insane. Live they sounded great but the studio versions are extremely atmospheric along with Top notch GD vocals. Hank's band really gives it that Louisiana vibe. I hope they make the light of day.

According to AMCtv.com, Glenn Danzig's (Misfits, Danzig) popular adult-oriented horror comic Satanika is coming to the big screen, courtesy of music video and feature helmer Thomas Mignone ("On the Doll").
An announcement on Glenn Danzig's web site reads as follows: "Didn't want to say anything until it was official but we can announce here that the Satanika live action movie is indeed a go! It will be directed by Thomas Mignone whose critically acclaimed film 'On The Doll' drew rave reactions all over the globe and will be based on the Verotik comic series written by Glenn Danzig." :rolleyes:
