Hey guys, this forum is dying, I was thinking about participation level of the members.....
I check the forum regulary for if there is any new post but usually there's nothing.
At the forum's start, the people participated more than now, Cygnus Wong chung bang and a lot of people more..... where are you, luckily Danath has returned....
All of us we must to keep up this forum, it's the only communication way with Iron Savior.
If you see an interesting post, reply please, maybe that you think your comment is stupid but in anycase, respond, 'cause always will be another person, another IS fan that will answer you, sure.
I try to elevate the participation level with those stupid topics like What's your favourite film?, I only want to make better this forum, and perhaps if someany guest that visit this forum, see a regular activity, maybe he'll interest for this band, unknowed for him, and perhaps he will buy any disk, only for listen someany song of these band that have a lot of people supporting them, and I'm sure that if he buys a release and listen anyone IS song, will love IS, and we'll have another partner, here in the forum and IS will have another fan.
So we can colaborate in this task, make IS a big band, like Metallica, Stratovarius, Iron Maiden.
I know that my english is terrible and maybe you understood nothing But I tried it.
Please colaborate!!!

Iron Savior is already great and I think everyone who likes metal has to listen to it,almost once. :wink:

I think the problem is to find the time. You see, it's not easy to find every day the time to check all the new posts and give an answer. In my case not because I wouldn't like to, but my job is rather stressing right now and I'm always running-running-running... :( Btw you are right. It's up to the fans (and the band as well, but I guess they are pretty busy at the moment :) ) to keep the discussion alive!

I know, more members would certainly be fun - a large community - but we're a cosy bunch as well, aren't we? lol :P
lol Isn't there way to recieve and post to the forums through email? :P But I don't think they'll allow any plugins on a remotely hosted forum.
I wonder if Helloweenie would like it if I hosted the Iron Savior forums in my own domain - www.parimalsatyal.com :roll: - no ads, any new features we want. And Helloweenie would always be admin :P

I didn't mean I REALLY run :lol: :lol: :lol: I meant I'm always in a hurry because of my job. I'm a painter (and you must admit it would be rather difficult to paint while running!! :lol: :lol: :lol: ), I am actually working on a new one man show that should take place in September and I just finished to print my catalogue. I also teach kids drawing and painting and when I have some time left I help my sister with the design and graphics of the sites she builds. You see, not much time left... :roll:
Btw, I love small forums, I prefer less people to deal with... I hardly writes on forums/message boards 'cause it often (too often!!) happens to find people who think they have the right to mistreat the others and get aggressive only because they think they are protected by an anonymous pc screen. That's why I like it here. Few registered people and I know Piet and the guys would never let it run out of hand :)

Ah, hi again - the reason I've stopped posting as much is because a while ago the University year ended and I'm now at home, where I have a much slower connection and am not on the Internet nearly as much as I was before.
But keep the discussion going, let's hope we continue to attract new members - it would be a shame for the forum to die before it's even really begun.

... well I can only talk for myself but in my eyes this forum is very much alive and really not dying! The page itself counts more than 10.000 visits during a very short time even though the new album is not yet released! :wink:
And talking to Piet he is very satisfied about the communication in the forum. He probably has been afraid that the forum would die but it is definitely not. And what is more: Piet visits it regularly (I don't know that many other musicians visiting AND posting as much as Piet does). And not only Piet posts a lot, Yenz does, too. So you can see that Piet really likes to communicate with you! :D
From my point of view, I check the forum regularly but don't have the time to write something about any topic that can be found here. I try to answer questions if I know the answers. Because of lack of time (studies, my crazy kids at my rowing group,...) I only find the time to visit the forum when others sleep... and sometimes I should prefer to do that, too. :x
In general I would say it's not the best to just post anything to have topics. You are welcome to talk about anything you want to of course but if there's nothing to say it's also ok to simply read through the forum... I mean it's not only mass that counts, or am I wrong?

Harald, I agree with you and don't worry, you are making an awsome job! There are just a few forums that works well like this and also Piet and Yenz are making a nice job :wink: I mean, it's cool to see they care for their fans; most of the bands wouldn't give a damn about posting on their message board.

It feels good, that all of you care for this forum! Rocky, my request would be to don't fill up the forum with too many topics... It may turn into some chaos, if too many topics are blowing the board... I share your idea of keeping contact regulary. How about this: I will create a topic called CENTRAL STATION, where people who want to stay in contact can leave entries wich than will be read and answered by others. Like this one would not have to work himself through hundreds of posts.
