    Engine parts
    Hello Pathfinder.
Picture 3 is a Heywood Compressor from the rear of the cylinder head on the Merlin. It provides air pressure to the aircraft brakes. Picture 4 and 5 look to be a graviner fire extinguisher.

Hey lancasterman, the heywood compressor also is used as "guncompressor" to load and activate the hispanoguns in a spitfire,
    issn´t it?

Not sure, dont know my spitfires but I would think it would be as well as providing air pressure for the wheel brakes.
