TREE LITE SPROCKET

I’m super excited to finally show some pictures of the prototype sprocket we are testing. We made this because I wanted a lighter sprocket that did not have to be babied. I wanted something that would actually stand up to light street and skatepark sprocket tricks.
This design is actually a morph from the original Tree sprocket. We enlarged the holes and got rid of unneeded material, which gives it a very impressive strength to weight ratio. It is made of 5/16” thick 7075 t6 aluminum. We tested this sprocket compared to other sprockets by bashing them on a coping to coping spine. After the tests we concluded that this sprocket is stronger than common 6061 aluminum sprockets yet it is still lighter than most “light” sprockets currently available.
There are more revisions and refinements to come so it will be a little while before the sprocket is available. We are testing another special feature to this sprocket not shown in the picture. Stay tuned!
