Identifying a tag with nummers
Hi all,

A couple of years ago I received a tag which had been fished out of the North Sea.
I think it's a plate of the fuel tank.
Now I would like to ask if someone can tell me the exact type of airplane it originally belonged to.

Also the serial # isn't very readable...

Just did a Google check for 30 gallon tanks. Maybe British made, Spitfire slipper tanks? :???:
Let's hope for more from other members !

Definately Spitfire. The drawing number 300 relates to Spits and the 65 to auxiliary fuel tanks. Happy new year!
