I had a dream tonight. For the first time in ages, I actually remembered my dream and I just had to write it down, it was so good. I might use this as inspiration for the RPG, actually.
Now tremble!

Split seconds passing in slow motion. He could feel their hands reach out for him, their desperate stares on his right hand as he struggled to slot the cards into the reader. Knees weak. Another split second. He wasn't going to get away. She was his only chance... although she might kill him without even a blink. No choice, no more time to think. His whole body ached as he twisted his fingers around the minuscule machine in his hand. The blue one was in. Beep. A little light went on and he could hear it booting up. No time, the hand were already gripping his shoulder, pulling him back. The red one was the key, he needed the red one! The reader between two fingers, the card between thumb and pinkie. It hurt like hell as he pushed the card in. He couldn't feel his other hand. Screaming. There. The red light, the rising sound of a miniature disc spinning up. Finally, the shivers as he heard her voice.
"System initialising. Booting prevented for this interaction... but I figure I should do it right now!"
Yes! The glare. What was this hellish feeling? The shimmering shadow flying over him. The sound of bones cracking. Blood everywhere. Saved.
As he turned to face the bloody bundle, she stood between him and the terrified nurse. Her appearance was still the same skinless body he had locked in the air duct a few hours ago. He had been terrified of her then. After all, he was the reason why she looked like this, though he had promissed to change that. He hadn't figured she would take a man's word. He wasn't going to keep it then, but now...
The nurse shaking before the bloody outlines of a devil, her dead mentor in a puddle at her feet. Looking at the women with her deadly glare, the devil spoke.
"He was looking for you, Alice of the Woods . But what he found was me, some daemon ."
