The EK SQUAD came about in early 2004, when the EK Squaf father came up with the idea of bringing together some of the most elite EK hatch owners on Honda-Tech. He wanted to create a group where enthusiasts could unite to share ideas and support, specifically on the 96-00 Civic Hatchback. When the first stickers were made, he distributed them to a few local friends, being your EK SQUAD 4 fathers... EK Squaf father, Neema (Ekizzle), Ryan (Airbag Club), and Mark (ATS*Hella_JDM). From that point on, the word spread and members were recruited which helped to build the foundation of the group. Currently there are members from all over the US and some international. Many have been featured in magazines such as Honda Tuning and HCI. The EK SQUAD represents the true elite EK hatch owners, and he try to exemplify that by choosing and recruiting those people who reflect that.
