endlich ist das eingetreten, was ich mir die letzten 3 (fast 4) jahre gewünscht habe. endlich kommen meine idole vielleicht wieder zusammen.
ich hab ja gewusst, dass tom delonge nach dem flugzeug absturz von travis barker wieder kontakt aufnehmen wird.
traurig nur, dass so etwas nötig war.

Blink-182 is one of the bands to be featured in a documentary about modern punk music. The film entitled One Nine Nine Four is due to be released in early 2009. Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk will narrate the film, which will also feature other punk acts such as Rancid, Green Day, NOFX, and The Offspring.[20]
On November 18, 2008 Mark Hoppus posted on his website about him and Travis recently speaking with Tom, saying:
“ In the midst of everything else that has happened lately, Tom, Travis, and I have all spoken together. First through a number of phone calls, and then a couple of weeks ago we all hung out for a few hours. They’ve all been great, very positive conversations. We’re just reconnecting as friends after four years of not talking. It’s a good thing. Obviously the first question for a lot of people will be “does this mean a blink-182 reunion?” The answer is none of us know. We haven’t talked about it at all. Right now it’s just good for the three of us to see one another, reconnect, and let the past be the past. The events of the past two months supersede everything that happened before. Life is too short. ”
On January 9, 2009, MTV.com posted the first of a 2-part interview with Mark Hoppus [21]. In the interview, Hoppus talks mostly about blink-182, stating:
“ The future is wide open. ... Blink-182 wasn't manufactured by a label, and we weren't making music to make money or for fame. We were three friends in a band, writing music that we loved. That's where it began and ended. Before there's reunion talk, we need to get back to that point again. Actually, we would need to get beyond that point, to a place where you can say to someone, 'Hey, man, I'm not really feeling this,' and be able to argue constructively about the music. Because that's where the best of Blink-182 came into being. The pull between the ideas the three of us had. I've always thought that the three of us each brought something unique and special to the songs, and the collision of those elements made the music what it was. In short, we would need to get back to where we're all close enough friends and artists to be able to tell each other, respectfully, 'Suck it.' My final thought is this: If — and this is a big if — Blink-182 were ever to re-form, it would have to be the most amazing, ridiculous, mind-blowing show and tour ever. I feel like, as bitter as our breakup was, we stepped back at the top of our game, and we'd have to come back even stronger and better than before. ”
He also briefly talks about his relationship with DeLonge and the blog post on his website which started the "possible reunion" hype.
On January 13, 2009, MTV.com posted the second part of the interview, in which Hoppus announced his plans for a solo record. Hoppus also stated in the interview that he and Travis Barker have been collaborating on each other's solo records[22].
so mal wieder coole nachrichten. vor allem der film der oben angesprochen wird, würde mich sehr interessieren.

ja eh nicht, aber ich glaube, dass er wenn er es nicht tun würde ein schlechtes gewissen hätte. andererseits hätte er ein schlechtes gewissen, wenn er sich bei travis nicht gemeldet hätte.
