Hi,
we recently started to assign restricted access settings to some subsets, which are no longer accessible by "Other" users (read-only for "Group"). But now it appears that even users which are in the correct "Group" (and are able to see these subsets in the Labshare client) cannot do a BLAST search anymore on these subsets.
Furthermore, if the "allow anonymous access via vnti protocol" setting is disabled in the labshare server, it seems that users cannot do BLAST search at all. VectorNTI remote data sources are configured and user name/pass is stored there. But it seems this is ignored and thus, BLAST search is denied.
Any idea?
P.S: the remote datasources are set up using a hyperlink of the shape "(servername)/"veblastcgi.cgi/" for BLAST and "(servername)/ve-light.cgi/" for database access. It's a labsare 3 server, using VectorNTI 10.3 with the labshare client 3.0.3 patch.
