Just wondering if anybody has read this series about a vampire romance at high school? I just finished the first book on the weekend and I just loved it! One of my friends bought it for me for my birthday and told me that she thought it was even better than Harry Potter, so of course I had to find out what all of the fuss was about *lol* I initially thought that the subject matter sounded a little juvenile, but it was extremely well written and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys books and movies with a supernatural theme. I'm going straight out to buy the second book now! :D

No, I didn't read this yet. I heard about it, but never bought or borrowed the first book to start reading.
At the moment I'm busy reading fairytales and writing my own stories anyway :wink:

Yes, they are aimed at teens/young adults. I'm surprised you guys haven't heard all the fuss about the movie version that is about to be released. It has already opened in the US.

oh - we just talked about it on Monday. A friend of mine who is a teacher got the book from her students and told me that she is totally facinated by it ... she mentioned a movie to come to the theatres soon ... I´m sure that´s the one you are talking about ... cause she also mentioned something like that she felt like back in the years when she was young and felt in love the first time ... ;)

ooh yes ,the movie starts here today.
i'm trying to go as soon as possible ,but am still to busy with work.
can't wait to see it though.

I'm going to see it this Saturday night. I've had my tickets for weeks. I can't wait. It sounds like the US fans have gone crazy for it *lol*

I've not seen it yet but it's trailers have been showing on TV, the net, etc. let me know what you think...I love a good vampire movie
