as you all know, i'm not realy a rvr person, i do my best from time to time, trying to raise some fun chars up to 50, mostly by rvr in bg to get decent ra too..
i must be hounest, with all the recent changes i lost all fun in the game, our guild is bleeding to death, i have not found any grp for my wilton and thid chars in day's.. ppl yelling for help in thid turn out to be low lvl stealther logging out as soon as i log in.. half of my dragon points have been spend on drops that gm's made useless from one day to the next..
if you look at the herald albion is the underdog again and still the uber grp's tell you not to add...
i think i'll take a pause... this game has ruled my free time for the past 2.5 years and all i got was frustration and germans flaming me in game and on the forum...
i'm getting to old for this
i might do some dragon raids from time to time but i don't feel like i can have any fun anymore..
on the forum i get reactions like: come to agra with monty, do rvr... well, the last 10 times i did that, i didn't get a grp cause they where waiting for a second cler to log in, farming spots are so nerfed i can't even farm money for crafting, and if someone call's for a crafter, they wan't only MP or overcharged spellcraft and they want it in the next 20 minutes allmost for free...
don't like the way the server is evolving, don't like the fact that ally chat is more and more german, don't like the fact gm's are changing things like they are god.. and i don't like the fact that changes are made with german players beeing informed and non germans beeing fooled..like with the leg weaps..
i had some realy fine hours here with all of you, just the last few months where booring and making me sad..

Well, i can underestand your frustration and i can underestand what you fell about uth current situation.
Yes, sometimes it feels that some are more well informed then others. But.. it is only because of some sit 24/7 in irc and listen every word they hear.
Uth staff i cannot blame, they did enough time to warn people of changes so in german community as in english community.
About rvr i can say 1 thing, if you feel you are too small and UB is fading to shadows. AOI has allways open slots and we are more to pleased to welcome new members in our friendly community.
The german speaking constantly will be from now on keeped close eye on and vialations will be not tolerated, and will be punished.
I can underestand if you want to take brake from daoc, lets say as the things are. But do not blame other peoples of flame for they might did wrong in past.
I will call allbion to unite, and keep fighting with oposite realms as midgard and hibernia not between themselves.
Still we are one family and let keep things as it was before, and try to improve situation not to make things worse.

God daem another person feels bad how things are going on uth. Dont knoe you in person Monty but my sister knows you atm AoI growing bigger by day, and i belive hat United Blades have been your home in daoc for a long time but if really no people online constantly then your leader gotta think of some kind of a change. well this text will deffenetly not bring your game intrest back i think but just so you know that people need you :)
I have been allways thinking about why guilds dont merge in Uthgard had that alot in live servers and besides that just make 2 guilds even stronger one guild but there are allways people who dont wanna merge :P
Besides last days Thid and brae had so much action that mids ware just rolling over us so action is not lost just need right people to group with ;)
well cant say anything good about agra since aint got a lvl 50 char here jet but my acc is wery old :P donno seems that im a PvE person aswell just like you monty :P
So think about it if UB seems dead then try to Merge with aoi and our guilds will get even bigger. well at least thats what i see as a good solution.
tho maybe im wrong and foolish.
And if you decide to quit daoc the i wish you Good luck man ;)

wel... i didn't stop the game.. i took some time off.. with my son beeing here in the weekends playing on my computer constantly (mostly DAOC) i'm planning to get him a new laptop so we can play together again, cause that's how i started playing on uth in the first place...
UB is not dead, i follow the guild closely and they do just fine, i can't force the guild master to make changes cause i'm the guild master, together with my 2 sons and a few very active players that have become close friends over the years..
i was very buzzy lately irl, i made a onager catapult to compete in the european championship punkin chunkin, and i had to make shure our team got first place this year with another machine... we won the championship and even broke the world record while knee deep in the mud...

the guy talking in the beginning is my boss, and the blue and yellw machine winning the event is sort of, my creation...
just try to create and build a machine hurling a 5Kg pumpkin for 544 meters just using gravity :wink:
aniway, day's are getting shorter, so i'll be back soon, bit by bit..
i just lost all interest cause GM's kept on making the game harder, luring people into rvr and taking away our farming spots, making mobs harder and harder, nerfing droprates,
the thing that has hurt me most was the legendary weapon nerf and the bountypoint robbery, i have at least 20 legendary gragondrops in vault, they have cost me abouth 20 dragon raids to get them, and they make them completely worthless over night... and i could have payed a lot of rent for my house with the bountypoints they stole from me...
at that point i got fed up and decided to stop... but it's like leaving your friends and family behind for a jouney... you still think a lot abouth them and you feel a bit lost.. so i'll be back when things irl calm down a bit...

it's not 'sort of' your creation... it IS... without you i'd never have been made :P
and untill Pumkinhammer prove they can do a valid shot in competition, it's still the biggest one of its kind in the world ^^
