Das Lied ist autobiographisch. Adam (CC-Sänger) hatte eine "Beziehung" zu dieser Anna. Eigentlich ist dieses Lied der komplette Ablauf dessen.

also, wie sie sich am Anfang kennenlernen und er sie zwar mag, aber nicht liebt und irgendwann wird ihm dann bewusst, dass es doch Liebe ist, was er eigentlich nicht zulassen wollte, weil Angst dass seine Gefühle verletzt werden. Doch dann mach Anna mit ihm Schluss und genau das tritt ein...
So oder so ähnlich?

Aalso, die Geschichte dazu:
Adam lernt Anna bei einem Europaurlaub in Griechenland kennen. Verliebt sich in sie und sie sich in ihn ebenfalls. Aus dem Urlaubsflirt wird echte Liebe und das ist das Problem. Adam lebt in California und Anna in Sydney. Letztendlich passiert, was passieren musste. Die Entfernung siegt. Wahrscheinlich weil beide sich dessen nicht bewusst waren. Nicht richtig über ihre Gefühle gesprochen haben.

Aber bist du der Meinung, dass, wenn sie über ihre Gefühle gesprochen hätten, es geklappt hätte?

Nein, ich nicht, sondern Adam sieht eine gewisse CHance, dass sie es geschafft hätten. Ich halte Fernbesziehungen, besonders zwischen Kontinenten für nicht machbar. Beziehungsweise würde ich keine eingehen.
