I cannot say what kind of part it is, but "E.E.P." is the shortcut of the manufacturer "English Electronic preston"

BTW. the name is English Electric, not Electronic. this company produced the Halifax at its Preston factory.

this is a modification plate,
its to show that whatever this was fixed to had been upgraded with all the newest design parts.
i will see if i can find out exactly where it was fitted but i dont think it will be easy. this is a very rare aircraft
