Angeltears

You always thought
you have to go your way alone
You always were an angel
with broken wings
Still I see the feathers
soaked and so bloodred
They are stucked inside your wrinkled hands
grown so old by your selfmade loneliness

I see you crying all alone
caputured in your all own cage
Fearfull prison
builded by foreign lies
The only thing you ever know
is to run away from you
And the only way you go
is to run away from love

So I'm sitting here so high above
have to watch all this misery in silence
Down on eath you see it raining
never knowing these my tears
My wings are lowered to my feet
cause all my power
is running from my eyes
And all alone I'm crying
all my angels tears

Why you never
why you never heard my voice
Why you never
why you never trusted in my words
And tell me why
why all your power
is just wasted in your fears
So don't try asking why you're all alone

So I'm forced to see you cry
And I don't want to see you breaking down
Maybe this is just the way you need to go
But still I just can't see you die inside
And I find myself here asking
if I did something wrong
Could there really be no other way
And maybe I was just a fool?

So I'm sitting here so high above
