Michael Kiske: The new album will be called KISKE ... I guess... the cover doesn't exist yet and it should be a worldwide release in Spring 2006.
Well, we must speak about the new album, who are your partners?
Michael Kiske: An old friend of mine from school-days playing Drums Karsten Nagel (Ill Prophecy).
And hopefully a black (American) guy called Fontaine playing the Bass-Guitar. Then some Guitars by Sandro Giampietro maybe too.
And the rest is me.
Michael Kiske: "It's gonna be a rock album, but it not gonna sound that hard as some of the songs of SUPARED. As I told you I have changed my way of listening to music. It's gonna be simple music, it's gonna kind of personal but not hard rock or metal. And the songs, I think I haven't done as good songs as these ones. I'm always learning, you know me. Very melodick rock with many acustic guitars. Maybe one day I'm gonna make a symphonic album..."
Michael Kiske: "I wanna make rock music, more basic and calm. I can make it perfectly with the piano or the acustic guitar, that what I really like it. It's gonna be more basic, as the Beatles sound".
Michael Kiske: "The album is completely finished and I'm waiting for it to be distributed through Frontiers Records. It isn't easy for Frontiers because they don't have a lot of money to contribute for distribution. Though they gave me so much help to make this album. Hopefully it will be ready for Spring 2006.
I tried to make an acoustic album like I've always wanted. With lots of acoustic stuff but I didn't want to go overboard with it. The style of my album is similar to The Beatles.
Fortunately I have a lot of friends who have participated on it for free. Since turning 30, I've realized that there are a lot of wonderful people who are able to help me in Hamburg. People of good heart. As you get older, you seem to meet new people to that you feel like you've known for a long time. "
Michael Kiske: "I'm gonna make a tour if I get right answer to my albums. It's posible that it gonna happen in my next album because Frontiers is the right record company for it. and so I think this album gonna be ok. it's a good mix. I need to build a new fanbase that want to hear me playing my new music, and not just old HELLOWEEN songs, you know. Untill that happens I won't step on any stage again, it's simply too boring. "
The recordings are going very well and the drums as well as nearly all the guitars have been already recorded. This week, Fontaine will record his bass-tracks and later on Michi plans to start doing the vocals, which according to him, will come out more emotional than on the last albums. Michi thinks that the recording and mixing of the album which will be finished in February and the release is scheduled for after the summer-break.

Yup and the Cover is finished as well, theres a short preview of it on michaelkiske.net think its beautiful so far.
