... from Oldenburg! Yipee!!! They would pick me as a student! I only have to send them a letter in which I say "yes", but I have sooooo many questions (the letter they sent me was quite confusing...). I called the woman who wrote the letter today, but she wasn't there and I got asked to write her an e-mail. Just sent it, now I'm waiting for a reply...

Got a reply to my e-mail to that woman in oldenburg. She answered a few of my questions, but not every question... I have to call her again, I think... :?

Got a reply from Bremen today! They want me, too! :D I'm so happy! I just have to send them my certificate (which showes that I'm able to use the english language on a C1-level) as soon as I got it! :D :D :D I'm sooo happy!
But I feel so bad to tell Oldenburg that I don't want to study there now... The woman who answered my e-mail was so friendly... :?

Looks like I had to say good-bye to Bremen. They gave me wrong information and now that test I have to make is not the right one and I wont get the certificate I need. I'm so pissed. It's partly my fault, because I trusted them, but when I go there and tell them I want to study Englisch and need a certificate for that, why do they tell me to make a test which is not enough for studying Englisch? Why? Why do they give me wrong information then? I mean, they are the ones who know about that stuff. I don't. i'm new. I can't know everything, can I?
I will call the university and an international certificate organisation and Oldenburg on monday and see what I can do... I want to study in Bremen so much and now it looks like I had to go to Oldenburg... :cry:

they really screwed up ,big time.
they are the ones that are suppost to help you make things a bit easier
but instead they made things worse.
the moral to this story: even professionals make mistakes
i hope that things will be sorted out ,hun.
and that you'll still able to go to Bremen.

Just came back from Oldenburg. The people there were really nice and everything went well, also a letter from my insurance company was missing. But I called my insurance company and they will send this letter directly to the university. So actually there shouldn't be anything left to worry about... I hope...

i know that 1st impressions count a lot.
Seeing that Bremen was lacking in the information section ,it might turn out into a good thing that your going to Oldenburg
maybe you'll even like it there so much that you don't even want to change to Bremen .

Just got the plans for me first week at university. It's a welcome weeks with different things were you can go to, the only problem is that some things (for example something about english from the unievrsity and something about english from those people who study it there) happen at the same time... :?
