I want to show you something!
In the Year 2006 i get this Pictures from a Man (Alex S.)
He found a Crashplace in the Austrian Mountans from a Crahsed "SI-204", it was since the Crash under Ice, and in the Summer the Ice was melting the parts came on the daylight !!
Look what he found! There a much much more parts (Wing, Tails, .....) but the High Attitude is a problem to get this parts! A lot of Personal things are too on the Place so i think the Crew was never found !?!? After more than 60 Years under the melting Ice the Plane i+ Parts are Move many 100meter´s in every way!
He told me there is no way to drive to the place, just with a Helicopter, it´s a 5 hour walk! I have no contact to the Person because i lost his mail.
I hope everybody understand my story in english :D

Maybe it is possible to clear the fate of the crew !
It could be better when you make a call to the authority in this district !
They have helicopter to secure the parts and could found human remains !
Could you post here the part numbers ?

I have just found the pictures on my computer, i lost the contact to the person, .. i remember that he told me the district (Bergwacht) know the place but they are not intreted for a recovery because it´s to expensive !?!? Yes, this is Austria :roll:

maybe you can ask the Austria airforce ?
They may have a museum and interest?
A better idea is a call to the chief of the Luftwaffenmuseum in Berlin?
They have enough money and interest on German aircrafts :n108:

Visited the crash site last week. Apparently the bodies of the five men
crew have been recovered in 1944 right after the crash. Plane itself is in
thousand of small pieces accept from some sections of the wings.
Everything is smashed to bits and no use of any museum. Would be nice though if they will put up some kind of memorial near to the crashsite.
I have been in contact wiith a local historian and hopefully the local
council can be pursuaded to release some money for such a memorial
in the near future.
