Give your presence here some extra personality! If you don’t already have an avatar (those cute piccies next to everyone’s posts), here’s where to get them:
Scroll to the top of any page, there are two black tabs pointing rightward from roughly the center—the top one says “Profile”. Click that.
Take the time to fill in any bits of your profile that you’ve previously left blank so people have a better idea of who you are. Change your Preferences to your liking. Then, toward the bottom of the page, you will see a heading, “Avatar Control Panel”. Now, if you happen to have a picture that meets the criteria listed there for file size and pixel dimensions, you can click “Browse” and upload it. But if you don’t, just go to the bottom of that box where it says “Show Gallery”. Click that, and it will pull up the Gallery. Use the pulldown menu to select a group of avatars to choose from—there are many themes available. When you’ve found one you like, click on the little bullethole beneath it, and click the “Select Avatar” button on the bottom of that particular page of avatars. It will pull the link into your profile. Then hit “Submit” at the bottom of your profile. All information, including your avatar link, will be saved, and your new avatar will show up on all your posts from then on in. You can change your avatar through your Profile at any time using the steps above.
