Whats your favorit U96 era? i mean, every year U96 changed style direction all from das boot - replugged/inside your dreams - Club bizzare - heaven - rythem of life - electro stuff - das boot 2001/underwater - we call it love - OOW
First of all i loved das boot wen it came out it was pure power and so diffrent from anything i heard before i liked kennedy and sonar sequenses but te rest of the track it took awhile to grow into.
Replugged i think i loved every track right from the start.
Inside your dreams i dident like from the start but it grew on me so i brought the singel.
Club Bizzare - from the start i only liked 4 songs CC LR Movin & Joy but it dident take long before i loved every track on that amazing album.
Heaven - @ first all tracks was a dissapointment 4 me. i brought heaven singel on release day before listen to it - but the more i listen to heaven it grew on me alot!!! at this time in my life i began to like harder music like Rmb - spring and stuff like that so @ first heaven was a dissapointment.
seven wonders i never liked until now, now i find it really good specially the Over Seven Mins Mix. i dont like the screaming voice of Dea-Li i think
Energie/Beweg dich i never liked dont do today either, but i loved the 2 b-sides dont whant to loose you and in your mind.
das boot 2001 i like very mutch and it was a suprise i was thinking it whould sound like Boot 2.0 (from alex/U96 in the mix)
We call it love - Wow best comback ever 4 me, remeber wen hering the 30 sound teaser i did not know what to expect thougt it whould be anhoter slow song but it was a bomb!!!
to sum it up, i think i like the CC era the most but there is many great U96 tracks that is better now than when i first listen to them. thats why i love the sounds of U96 chouse they can be so time less.
infact i think some tracks whould been more chart and sale succes if they came some years later like club bizzare, i dont tink it fits 1995 but if it whould came in 97/98 it whould been a bigger succes. it so before it´s time.

Hmm difficult to say, I like different songs and not necessarily an 'era'. Das Boot was of course what started it all and that remains a very cool track, with its hundred remixes as well:-) A cool album overall.
What I liked from Replugged was most of all LSNC, still one of the best U96 tracks ever I think. The album's style was very different but also had that U96 sound.
Then the Club Bizarre album, again another type of style and still recognisable as U96. Wow the Sequential One remix from Movin', definitely!
Heaven did it again with some great tracks. Still as with almost all released singles from the other albums as well, in most cases I preferred the remixes on the singles. The electro singles were fine as well, and the In Your Mind added track a great song.
Such a shame that We Call It Love needed to be pulled back: what a comeback and a kaboom-type of hit with good rhythm and beat. Exactly the sound I would have liked to hear more of!
There was then a lot of discussion on the old forum about the Out of album... I think it has a lot fo great songs and with every new album and some change of style, you start to like the sound more the more you listen to the album.

I also prefere the "harder" remixes, with al little more beat in it
