    AoI Guild Rules
Here you will find our guild rules

Army of Immortals – Guild Rules - Version 2.00

    I. General things

1.) The Army of Immortals is a DAoC Guild on the Uthgard Freeshard Server. It is an Albion-only guild and aimed for RvR.
2.) Guild leaders are Boris, Cletus, Kronos and Riho. Honorary (inactive) guild leader is Ysis.
3.) Main goal and motto of the AoI is to have fun with each other playing DAoC. Its a game! The whole guild is to be understood true to this goal. Also the guild rules are to be understood true to this motto.
4.) The Uthgard Server Rules are binding in the AoI. They are to be followed. Repetitive violations of the Uthgard rules (or even one harsh violation) may lead to guild exclusion (kick).
5.) All Army of Immortals have to report bugs and exploits to the Uthgard Staff at once. Bugged items are not to be used further but to be reported to the staff. In case an AoI player recognizes a violation of these rules by another AoI member, he shall contact the guild leaders to discuss the proceeding.

    II. Guild invitation and exclusion

1.) The Army of Immortals is open for all Albion players. Requirement for a guild invitation is a minimum level of 35 and the capicitiy to speak/write english. There is no claim for a guild invitation. A candidate has to write an application in the forum where the AoI members can discuss and vote about it. The final decision about the guild invitation is a decision of the guild leaders alone.
2.) All AoI members may bring their actively played twinks into the guild, regardless of their level.
3.) The AoI membership is unlimited. All AoI members can be excluded from the guild at any time. Requirement of an exclusion is the existance of a solid reason. The existance of such a solid reason is a decision of the guild leaders alone.
4.) All guild members with ranks 0-1 are authorized to invite new members/chars to the AoI. Only the guild leaders may declare a guild exclusion.
5.) After a guild exclusion the excluded player may rejoin the guild. He has to apply for a new guild membership like any other new member, therefore he has to write an application. The reasons for the guild exclusion are important for the decision about the reinvitation.

III. Behavior in the guild and towards allies

1.) The guild members are to act friendly and respectful in the guild. They have to respect and help other guild members.
2.) All guild members shall answer to questions of other guild members, especially guild and DAoC newbies. They are to be treatened with kindness, respect and helpfulness.
3.) Unfriendly, arrogant or insulting behavior is not allowed. This also includes flaming or emotespamming of other guild members. Violations of this rule are taken very seriously.
4.) These rules also fully apply for the attitude towards ally members.
5.) All AoI members are asked not to sell useful items with level 40+, but to give them to lower members of the guild. If possible they shall put such items into the guild vaults.
6.) Main goal of the AoI is having fun. The overall behavior is bound to this motto. Problems with other guild members, other players or GM's are to be solved via PM, chatgroup, TS or forum.
7.) All members are asked to take initiative in the guild. They shall organize leveling, RvR and guild events.

IV. Behavior towards other albion players and the staff

1.) Towards other albion players, all AoI members shall pay the same respect as towards AoI members.
2.) This rule especially has to be followed while communicating with the uthgard staff members.
3.) All AoI members shall represent the guild in a positive and honorable way. This also applies for IRC chatting and forum postings. Especially, the AoI members shall be kind and friendly towards DAoC newbies. Honorable and honest behavior has to be shown.

    V. Behavior in the guild and ally chat

1.) The guild/ally chat shall not be used for spamming. If possible, personal discussion shall be made in chatgroup or group chat.
2.) The language in the guild/ally chat is english. All guild members have to use this language. When there are only members of an other language online, they may - of course - use their native language but switch to english as soon as an non native speaking member join the chat.
3.) A violation of these rules leads to a demotion to rank 9 where you can't use the chat. All rank 0-1 guild members may demote.

    VI. Behavior in RvR

1.) All AoI members shall not kill enemy players in RvR which are colored grey (greykilling). This rule applies for all RvR areas (BG, Emain and DF). This rule does not apply if the grey attacks, heals or otherwise engages you in combat.
2.) Bypassing the greykilling rule by provoking greys or trying to get them mob-killed is also not allowed.
3.) AoI members shall act honorable in RvR against other realm members. emote-spamming and rude gestures are not allowed.
4.) Continued or harsh violations of these rules will lead to a guild exception.

    VII. Crafting and Bank

1.) The AoI offers crafters of all kind. All guild crafters are asked to apply to orders of guild members. If the crafters takes a reward for his work is his free decision (10% are normal).
2.) The guild has a guild due of 2% on all gold income. The guild due is automatically deposited onto the guild bank account.
3.) The guild's gold will be used for guild useful things (crafting, items etc.).

    VIII. Emblem and Colors

1.) The AoI emblem is a dark green V on light green ground with a stilizised Griffon. The color of the AoI is black.
2.) The guild members are asked to wear the guild emblem on their cloak and shields.
3.) All RvR chars are advised to use black/charcoal color on their armor and shields. For high end RvR the colors can change, important is that all use the same colors. A unitary color is an advantage in RvR because the enemy can't make out special persons easily.

    IX. Guild forum

1.) The AoI forum is open for all AoI players to use it for communication, smalltalk and organisation.
2.) All AoI players have to register in the AoI forum, and introduce themselves to the other members. They have to present their AoI chars and especially their crafting skills.
3.) All Army of Immortals players shall see to it that their char informations are up-to-date.
5.) All AoI members have to notify the guild about a long time absence. Not the reasons for the absence are important but the note about it. Members who do not log any of their AoI chars for over four weeks and do not notify the leaders about their absence will be excluded from the guild without warning.
6.) The AoI forum and all topics/postings are private and off the record. They are not to be opened or made public in any way to anyone else outside the AoI. Violation of this rule is a serious thing and will most likely lead to a guild exclusion.

    X. X-Realming with hibernia and midgard realms on uthgard

1.) X-Realming is known as the active leveling of chars of other realms or playing them in RvR.
2.) AoI members have to notify the guild leader about their other realm chars that are RvR capable. A PM to a guild leader is sufficient. If a player does not notify the guild leaders about his other realm RvR chars, it will lead to a guild exclusion.
4.) Members who notify the guild leaders about their other realm chars may play them in RvR. But, there has to be a focus on the leveling/RvR in the AoI (about 75%+). A violation of these rule will lead to a warning, continuing violation to a guild exclusion.

    XI. Communciation in the guild

To get known of each other better and to be more effective in RvR, TS is advised (but not a rule). The use of IRC for guild and ally channel is also advised. The use of the guild channel is a must-be-thing. Teamspeak is not an alternative for the guild chat.

    XII. Penalties

1.) A violation of the guild rules will lead to a warning. Such a warning will be given by the guild leaders in written form.
2.) After receiving some warnings there will be a guild exclusion.
3.) Serious offence of guild rules may lead to a immediate guild exclusion. There is no claim for a warning before an exclusion.
4.) The decision of guild exclusions is a decision of the guild leaders alone.
